I've bought several of the Might Max batteries over the past few years. They've been used in everything from kid's ride on tractors to alarms to UPS devices. Actually bought this one as a replacement in an APC BE550G. Most people check the length, width, and height of the battery before they order it. But you also have to PAY ATTENTION TO THE TERMINAL SIZE !! The APC BE550G is a perfect example of why that is true. Apparently APC, in its infinite wisdom, produced different versions of the BE550G. Some came with connectors for F1 terminals on the battery and others came with connectors for F2 terminals on the battery. An F1 terminal is 3/16" wide while the larger F2 terminal is 1/4" wide. They are NOT interchangeable. I made that mistake and learned the hard way. If your UPS has F2 connectors, they will NOT correctly attach to a battery with F1 terminals and vice versa. The terminals on the UPS and the battery must MATCH. Might Max is very good about telling you which size is on every battery they sell. Some reviewers have blamed Mighty Max for the fact that the battery they ordered was not identical to the original APC battery. Do NOT blame Might Max, the problem was created by APC. To make matters worse, Amazon does not accept returns on batteries if you discover that the battery you ordered has the wrong terminals. But all is not lost. Might Max is a rare company in the Amazon world. They have a New York based customer service center that actually answers the phone and is ready to help you solve any problems you run into. In my case, they offered to send me two tiny little F1 to F2 adapters for free. Seriously, what other company would ever do something like that for you? They send them by US mail so it takes about 10 days for the terminals to arrive, but hey ... they're doing you a HUGE favor here. One the adapters arrived, they fit perfectly, the battery dropped right into place, and worked like a charm. So, don't hesitate to use Might Max batteries, they're top quality. And please do yourself and Mighty Max a big favor by double checking the size of terminals/connectors you need ... smaller F1 or larger F2 ... BEFORE YOU ORDER. Just because Mighty Max will help you get out of a jam ... let's not abuse their good nature.

Replaced APC battery in my UPS. Seems to charge and power my computer items well just like OEM.

Perfect fit for an APC BE550G replacement battery. It was very easy to install. The connection wires fit into the terminals and snapped into place creating a secure connection without any issues. Other reviews mentioned that the F1 terminal was not the correct size and that it should be an F2 terminal but the connection was just as secure as the original OEM battery. Priced at around $20 for this large 7.2AH battery is a great deal. We purchased a different Mighty Max battery for another APC UPS a while back and it has worked perfectly. Solid quality product at a great price. I'll update this review if either of the Batteries stop working.

Terminals are more narrow than original battery, so female slide-on connectors from UPS don't fit as well. Did not expect that to be the case because this battery has a higher amp-hour rating.

2026 is at least my second time replacing batteries in two APC units that I originally obtained USED from a former employer in 1998. (For years, they sat unused.) There was nothing wrong with either of these batteries, but they don't last more than a decade! Even with APC original batteries, they say to replace them after 5 years. I tend to replace mine when they won't hold enough charge to get me through a 2 minute outage. I now have a generator on an automatic transfer switch that kicks in after 2 minutes. It is great that these batteries are still available. Interestingly, one of the APC units is the "new" kind with a door on the bottom, and the battery is very easy to replace. The other one is older, and both time I needed to almost completely disassemble the UPS to get the battery replaced. I know it has been well over 6 years since I last replaced the battery in that one, and it is so much "fun" that I may finally retire that unit when this battery is done. Anyway, whether these are easy to replace depends not on the battery, but on the exact age of the APC UPS you have. If you have one built before 1998, check to see whether it has a door on the bottom. If not, don't bother.

Excellent replacement battery for my battery backups. Had a power outage during a thunderstorm and everything ran without a hitch.

This is the second time I have purchased a battery from this brand. for my back-UPS All I can say is the performance is no different than the OEM batteries for sale . IT installs and hooks up to the internal wiring perfectly and after charging for the required time , the performace is no different than the OEM battery that originally came with the unit and is way more expensive. 5 stars!!!!!

Great place to buy a replacement battery. Customer service was great helping me make sure I got the correct one. Very easy to switch, at least in mine.

When my UPS starting beeping and then quit, panic ensued! I live in a place where power failures/surges are common. Off I went to Amazon to look for my next UPS and found that prices had changed considerably since my last one! More panic ensured. A few searches brought up this baby. Now, it galls me to pay more than half of what I paid for my USP just for a battery. But then again, apart from the battery, the UPS is not much more than software. And it is way cheaper than buying a new one now. So I took the chance. It arrived quickly, was beautifully (read safely) packed, installed as easily as any battery should, and everything works again! Yea! I can't rate this on battery life yet as I have barely used it. I may come back in a year or so and give this the fifth star. Nice product!
