LIFE EXTENSION SUPER OMEGA 3 EPA DHA WITH SESAME LIGNANS AND OLIVE FRUIT EXTRACT 240

I am truly impressed with the product - BUT ...Make sure you read ALL of the product description. Currently the picture view of the product contents shows a serving size of 2 softgels. This is NOT true with the 240 size package. It is actually a smaller size softgel, and requires a serving size of 4 (as stated on the bottle received). Amazon is in the process of fixing this. But for now, be are that the 120 size has a serving size of 2 softgels, and the 240 size requires twice as many (4) softgels for the same actual amount of the product.Beyond that, this is a product that is clearly superior to almost all other similar ones. The quality of the fish oil is excellent, and the addition of other substances only enhances the product. We've used many previous products, and this is now our choice going forward.

This was one of the recommended omega 3 supplements on Consumer Lab so I decided to give it a try. I’ve always gotten headaches with other fish oil supplements, but not with these. I love the 4 pill dosage & the ability to just take 1 pill a day, 500mg, just the right amount for me. The biggest benefit I have seen is a significant improvement in both sleep quality and duration since I started taking these. I have always been a light sleeper and this has been a total game changer!

This came recommended from a doctor. He recommended it because of the ratio of the oils. I did my own research and discovered he is absolutely correct. The ratio in this product is the best ratio for absorption. Any other you buy your just wasting you money. This is by far a superior product to any other fish oil supplement. I always do my research to make sure I'm not throwing my money away on a vitamin that won't perform. So I would rather spend a few extra bucks that I know I'm getting what I pay for than to spend less on something that just doesn't work. Life Extension company seems to be a company that does there research and I buy many of there products. There are some vitamins though that you can actually buy for less from others but not fish oil.

I like all the Life Extension products. I have been using them for about 15 years. My bloodwork tells a story; so far it's been a good one.

No fishy taste or fishy aftertaste. Very high amounts of EPA and DHA. I like that the EPA and DHA are molecularlly-distilled from the fish oil. A LOT of other fish oil say 1000mg or 1500mg, but that is how much fish oil is in each gelcap. If you look at the label you'll see that only 300mg or so of the 1000mg is actually EPA and DHA and the rest is just fish "junk". Each Life Extension fish oil gelcap contains 1000mg of fish oil which yields 350mg EPA, 250mg DHA, 25mg DPA plus 150mg of olive extract - that's a total of 775mg of good stuff and only 225mg of "junk".

This is specifically for the 240 count version of the product. There is nothing that I can see which indicates in the listing that the capsules in the 240 count are 1/2 the size of the capsules in the 120 count. You pay considerably more for the 240 count but get the same amount of product as the 120 count. This needs to be called out clearly somewhere on the listing or on the product. They don't even have an image of the nutritional info for the 240 count which would show that the serving size for the 240 count is 2x the number of capsules as the 120 count. I thought I was getting a good deal when I was actually getting the same amount of product for more money. Not only that, but now I need to take 8 capsules per day instead of 4 which is a pain.This annoyance aside, the product itself seems to be of good quality and effective. I have been taking it for several months now and it seems to help my joints. I would just suggest getting the 120 count version instead.
