I live in the mountains. My nearest cell tower is a long way away and behind a hill. At best I get 1 bar of LTE reception on Verizon or T-Mobile, at worst I had no cell reception and had to rely on my, not incredibly reliable, cable internet. Which has always worried me - what happens if someone has a medical emergency and Comcast has an outage.I just did a very rudimentary installation of the Amazboost A6, the Amplifier unit is on my deck because my roof is covered in snow and I only have one indoor antenna running. Now I have between 3 and 4 bars of LTE and sometimes I get 3 bars of 5G on Verizon, over about 2,000 sqft.In the spring, I'll move the amplifier onto my chimney and hopefully get an even better signal.

Unfortunately I purchased this product thinking it was a Amazon brand product. Its not and now the app doesnt work with no update. Doesn't look good for Amazon either, I thought they vetted their sellers/products before listing. Nope, I was scammed. Can't trust Amazon anymore.

I gave it a three because if you have your phone 5 feet from base you get 5g. 10 feet away 2 bars or 1. A waste of money. False advertisement, does not work well.

This is the 3rd booster in 5 years I have purchased for our home. The first was a weboost and worked great, but my pets destroyed the indoor antenna and I upgraded to an Amazboost system just under this booster. We still have that booster specifically for our bedroom in our house. This unit was easy to install and has 2 indoor antennas. We put one in the great room on our main floor and the other on the basement floor. Granted on the roof I could get 1-2 bars of 4G service. Now we have full bars 5G almost through the entire 2000 sq ft of living space. The closer to the booster the better of course, but no more dropped calls and our Hotspot for streaming works flawlessly. The first 2 boosters I spend around the 250-300 dollar range and would only boost about a 400 square foot area, but this set up is far and above those cheaper units and I couldn't be happier!

We installed this to boost the signal in both our upstairs and downstairs portions of our house. Following the directions and changing settings in our phones - it has NOT boosted our Verizon signals in either up or downstairs.

This worked very well we had had no signal in building know have 4 to 5 bars in 3400 sq ft
