I bought this for some late season dear hunting. I now find myself using it for everyday use. shoveling snow, any outdoor activities. I keep it with me all the time. I am going to purchase several others for family and to keep at work. Stays warm, but not to warm, dries very fast and stops you from getting the chills when the cold air hits a sweaty neck.

Super comfy and well fitting but is fairly thin. I would advise something heavier if you’re likely to face strong winds. On the other hand, being so thin makes it extremely breathable and excellent for sitting in a tree stand.

I found the material to be less comfortable than 100 percent merino., but it was more versatile than I imagined. I ended up mostly using it by pulling the back half up over my ears and back of my head. So it took the edge off the cold. Anything colder than the twenties in F, you might want something warmer.I also plan to use it desert hunting to not breathe in dust while on 4 wheelers.
