Doesn't appear to be geniune part
Slightly smaller than the size needed for the original aeropress. This means it's gets jammed on, is hard to remove and the aeropress paper filters are slightly too big.Would recommend buying genuine part that fits.

Perfect OEM Replacement for Lost/Broken Parts
I lost the cap for my Aeropress on a camping trip, and figured I'd have to order a whole new unit. I was super happy to see that you can order almost any part individually! This is exactly the same as the original, and fits perfectly.

It's the real thing all right. 3 stars because it is overpriced...about half the price of my entire Aeropress + 100 filters. $6-7 for a replacement seems more reasonable to me.

Passt perfekt, der Preis ist leider zu hoch
Für das selbe Geld könnte ich mir fast eine neue AeroPress besorgen. Das ist aber ökologischer Schwachsinn, also in den sauren Apfel gebissen. Passt aber perfekt und ist das ideale Ersatzteil. Ich werde es einfach nicht mehr verlieren...

It's a replacement part, nothing more
It is as expected: a replacement for the original. Can't give 5 stars for something so ordinary. It does what it is supposed to, that is all ... and for a rather high price, actually.
