Sharper Image Precision Digital Food Scale

I bought this to replace my old one that gave up the ghost after 14 years. I use it multiple times a day (I always weigh and measure my food for my diet) and it works like a champ.

I have had one for years and years. Just bought another for a gift. The ability to weigh in grams is invaluable. This is a must have for every foodie and chef! Battery lasts almost forever also!

OK for imprecise kitchen tasks (e.g. weighing out pet food). Display and settings are OK, but one of the rubber feet came off, and now it's difficult to level. Relatively small size is convenient.

Good inexpensive digital scale. Works for both grams and ounces, has the zero function to zero out the weight of containers or to add the measures of multiple ingredients in one container starting at zero for each ingredient. I have owned one scale for a couple years now, also bought a second one for the office.

This is a great scale! It is easy to use, measures in grams, pounds, and ounces. I can put my plate on the top and then press the tare button to zero out the scale and then I am ready to measure my foods. It has made food prep so easy!

I had one of these for several years. I loved it!!!Then the glass plate came detached from the unit. Bought this replacement and it arrived with the glass plate separated from the unit. There is a square block that fits down into the unit. As long as I am careful to orient it correctly, it seems to weigh OK.I am just tired of buying and returning defective merchandise. This one was not defective enough to bother with.

I would prefer not having the metric weights comes up first when weighing..
