This thing is fantastic. I purchased a manual high pressure pump To fill the tank and It takes some work however I I am able to comfortably reach the 3000 psi mark. As for using the VKS It is simple in its design and outstanding for its launching capability. Definitely an enjoyable way to practice with a non lethal/ go outside in your backyard system while using the inert rounds and should I need to use the pepper rounds I can certainly reach out and touch somebody. Down the road I might get a second one to have.

I would not recommend this "non lethal software defense" gun to my worst enemy. Obviously Pepperball has issues with quality control for their consumer line of launchers because I could not get a pepperball to launch out of my VKS and when it finally made its way to the chamber it exploded in my face causing the worst pain I have felt in my life. The launcher would not function correctly on cartridge or hopper mode prior either. Drained an entire 13CI CO2 cartridge the first time I pulled the trigger. It'll be contacting Pepperball directly Monday morning to share my experience and see what they would like to do to make this right before I contact my attorney. I contacted Pepperball directly. They promised to return my call regarding this.

The pictures show a pre-fitted foam insert within the case; nope. Ordered a second after returning and got the same cheap inner lining. The case itself is flimsy plastic ("Gun Guard" by Plano). In addition, the hopper adapter was not included; in either gun case order. Contacted PepperBall directly and they said they will forward my issue to "corporate." Been over two months now; not a word and I followed up weekly. The launcher is well constructed and fires flawlessly; the ancillary equipment supposedly included...not so much.

The magazine is really bad at holding paintballs, it can't even load 10 paintballs before it bursts it out when the magazine is designed to hold 15. It is quite the disappointment.

Solid product well made. But you will need to buy or go to a place to fill the air tank and buy .68 cal rounds. So far just tested inert plastic rounds, will try first strike paintball round next.

When getting the item it seemed pretty promising. Good quality and with their oem rounds it shoots pretty well, but .. the one star is based on the fact that 1. You can not reach pepperball by phone or email 2. You do not get any instructions on how to take it apart or how to clean it 3. Using the mags you can only use their rounds and 4. Instructions are unclear in regards of setting the pressure

Had fun using it for fun target practice!
