This gadget is wonderful. It's very easy to set up and use, and the slicing action is so quick you can't believe you're done -- you look down and the entire chunk is shredded and done. Wow, this is a terrific item. I highly recommend it for yourself or as a gift.

Slicing cucumbers

This mandoline gives very nice thin slices with great ease. I haven't sed any other blades as I purchased it just for onions. The handy container that comes with it are what makes this so special.

Not sharp at all, very hard to use, tried carrots, cabbage and green peppers. There was no way I would have attempted a tomato, it would have been mush on the first try.

For what I paid for it! It is awesome! I have cut several veggies soft and hard ones. The key to using mandolines is going fast not slow!

I love it. It is everything I expected it to be.
