Loses suction
Loses suction via valve. This is not a very tight seal. Works good enough for $7.

Unreliable... Jus tdidn't work for me and had to get something else.
First time out of the box one of the 4 vacuumclicks was faulty. Burned through 3 bags before I finally tried a different one and got it to hold a seal. I tossed the faulty VC. Worked fine for about 5 or 6 times and now another one has shot craps. Went ahead and bought a vacuum sealer. This was pretty much a waste of $20 for me. I looked around to try and find more of the vacuumclix but can't seem to find any online without buying this whole package. I wouldn't recommend this product unfortunately. Worked great when it worked... but just doesn't work.

Great for coffee beans... and probably anything else prone to oxidation damage!
This is a perfect product for my application: storing coffee beans. My wife and I are avid coffee drinkers, but the 2.2 lb bags we buy have amazing aroma when freshly opened, but MUCH less amazing even a couple weeks later (even firmly folded and clipped shut). Coffee beans come from the factory vacuum packed with similar (cheaper) valves to the WonderClickz valves. I thought it was a sales tactic (impulse buys based on squeezing out that wonderful aroma), but I realized they're one-way valve that supposedly allows CO2 out without letting air in, but I suspect it's not the CO2 but the oxygen in air. (Oxygen is damaging: it causes iron to rust, copper to patina, apples to yellow, avocados to brown, etc.)I was shopping for vacuum canisters to keep my coffee beans fresh, but I learned they lose their vacuum (air leaks in). Worse, you won't know it until the contents have already degraded because the canisters still look the same. With the Wonderclickz sealing system, I have amazing reusable vacuum sealing with visual leak detection! I packed some coffee beans (Maroma Platinea... yum!) in mylar bags; the bag and contents are rigid and you can see individual beans. 5 days in, my coffee beans are just as vacuum packed as when I first sealed them... see photo). I tried to reseal the factory coffee bag using the Wonderclickz system, but because of the inevitable creasing at the seam, it would not hold a seal. I could hear air leaking in, and in minutes, the bag went from lumpy bean outlines to smooth. Leak detected!!!I have not personally tried a similar product. I have preordered the Vacuvita system (a countertop powered vacuum system), but have yet to receive it. Even when I get that, I would probably still prefer the visual feedback the Wonderclickz system provides. One caution: be careful when you separate the two pieces of the valve... the internal piece is sharp and the pointy part ends up poking your finger! I'll get better, but I poked myself a few times. I didn't get cut, though. If you're storing coffee like me, don't use the supplied bags as they say UV light degrades coffee beans. I recommend the 8" x 12" mylar bags. 8" bags seem to be the widest the supplied Wonderclickz clips will seal.

I was excited but.....
I was excited but.....after one month testing the valves with different bags I notice the same inefficiency. Bags will get air inside somehow after every pump, maybe they will take hours but in the end the "seal" doesn't last.Sometime the inside part of the valve get stuck , in the suction, against the opposite side of the bag making the pumping impossible.Great idea but need to be improved. Will wait for version 2.0

Save your cash and go with New Food Vacuum Sealing system
Great product---but doesn't work for beans with ziploc type bags. The sturdy bags it comes with seal tightly and had zero air leaks and kept my food burn-free in the freezer far longer than mere butcher's paper ever did. Can't seem to find bulk bags like those that came with the sealing system so I have ordered some alternate types from SousVide and see if those hold up. All in all---this was a great choice on my part and on theirs for coming up with a simple yet effective sealing system.

Perfect for leftovers!
What an east storage system! I have a food saver, but unless I have a ton of stuff to freeze I tend to not want to deal with the hassle of digging the appliance up and hooking it all up. That is why we got these bags! I got my first set as a gift in exchange for an honest review, and loved them so much I purchased another pack.Perks:You can package leftovers for the freezer in mere seconds. The parts (not the bags) are completely reusable. No Electricity or bulky appliances. No freezer burn. Food stays airtight!Super simple to operate and the "parts" fit easily in the silverware drawer.Cons:Only comes with 4 bags. Plan on buying a set of bags at the same - you will need them. You technically *can* use these with double bagged freezer bags, but the heavy duty bags are better.
