Compared to 2 other brands of mooncake molds that I already have, these are not very well made. The handle of the mold is very rough and it is uncomfortable to used. The handle where you use to press the dough out from the mold is tough on my hand, very rough surface. Also I had to struggle a bit to get the different plates that go into the mold area - to get it sit just right and twist to tighten. Honestly, don't know if this set will be durable or not since the material used for this set seem really cheap.

This is a pretty standard mold, nothing special. This is a pretty good value for what it is. We are still learning how to use it. We tried using this to mold ice cream mochi based on videos we found on YouTube. However, that was a complete disaster. We really couldn’t get it to work, will update this review once we start making actually mooncakes which should be firmer and easier to mold.

Nice shade if u press harder or the doe or whatever u r making to get a nice printed shape but time consuming
