I bought these "paper" place mats for a family reunion in September. I plan to mark the routes that our ancestors traveled from various countries of origin to the United States. I am very surprised and pleased with the quality of these place mats. They are "paper" but a good quality paper and have a plastic coating on the front. These will work perfectly for my project. I strongly recommend these - they would make a good school project. The price was great!

Using this for gift paper like tube-shaped when I want to give someone the whole world. The colors are beautiful. Placemats as gifts inside the giftbox go over well too. If for an international friend, highlight their country.

I bought these to use in a geography class and they are way more durable than I was expecting. Very pleased with the sturdiness and accuracy.

While looking for something to "hide" items on my husband's office shelves, I found these. I'm in the process of covering them and it's working terrifically. I will post photos once I'm done.I gave them a 4 star because the picture if lighter than presented in the pictures. I'm using a tea stain to darken them to a deeper tone.

I loved it. I bought it for a placemat on the tables at our pioneer school. The map picture is very clear. The friends loved them. They took them as souvenirs. I will order again

Not only do I like studying a world map while I'm eating, but these paper placemats are thinly laminated, so you can easily reuse them!

being a geography buff, I'd never be able to answer a trivia question from looking at this map-need a magnifying glass & flashlight. referring to the washed-out color overall-not at all as shown in product description. disappointed, however, to end on a positive note, it was packaged well & the quality of paper is satisfactory! I'll deal with it for now!

We home school our children. These placements are perfect for family discussions about geography during lunch time.
