Flimsy
Used these to winterize our pontoon boat in November. Well the first snow fall the poles broke and cracked. We had to buy something stronger to work! Unfortunately we bought these in August so the return window closed in September! I would not recommend these!

Could be more sturdy - it works though.
I like everything about this product besides the base. I thought a bigger base would be great. But once you throw your cover on and go to tighten the cover, for whatever reason the poles have a mind I’d their own & usually starting leaning one way or the other. Then it’s pretty easy to get them knocked over. Maybe a base that keeps the poles from leaning would be great. Other than that, they’re great! I love the adjustability. It’s very easy to get them the right height and to change the height. Very well made/designed. I would recommend these for sure! Just 4 stars because I’d like to see the bottom plate be a bit more sturdy.

Worked great to support my cover
Works well due to the multiple fitting/adjusting pieces. I used bungee cords to keep the posts in position while putting the cover in place. I needed to add so additional straps from my cover to my trailer to make it taught and eliminate puddling on the cover...I also put a piece of foam padding on the top to protect the cover from wear-n-tear due to wind & rain...all-in-all the posts work as they should...

Okay product
Base support could be larger in diameter and have a heavier plastic. Sturdy if they stay up, but have fallen down under some stress.

Supports for garden shade cloths over plants!
I live in the desert and had to put 50% sun blocking shade cloths over my plants, but I needed a way to keep them up over them with no structure available on one side to connect to. So I connected them to the wall and lifted the cloths over these and let them drop down beyond the plants, giving them the space they need to grow. It's a great, temporary solution that I can stow away after the hottest time and the smooth, round tops don't snag or cut the cloths. It was a fantastic chance find. I had no idea these existed. The seller should market them among garden products, too! I think they could help a lot of people with their gardens.

broke before cover was even on
i know the plastic poles are not as durable as the telescoping poles but i needed something quick and thought these would last me at least a few months.. they broke while i was putting them in place before the cover was even on. fortunately i had some extra pole pieces, so i swapped it and got the cover on and it broke in two more places after a little rain and broke.. ill get some PVC to replace this possibly and just use the top and bottom, but the bottom plate also is small and doesnt stand as well as others ive had.

works
This is holding my boat cover up so water does not pool in it.I would have given it 5 stars but it is light weight and tips over easily.I wound up putting the hollow tube over a small pipe attached to a base that I use for mounting rod holders for night fishing. Now it works great , just need to either add some sandbag weights to bottom section base or find some other way to secure it like I did.
