You And Your Dogs Will Love This!
This dog ramp is a life saver. And a back saver! It was becoming more and more difficult to lift my 105-pound female Rottweiler up into the cargo area of my car (a Subaru Crosstrek XV). This dog ramp resolved that problem almost immediately. It took my dog only about five minutes to learn to walk up the ramp and walk back down. No stress at all. This product is ideal for senior dogs, dogs that may have suffered an injury, and dogs that might be a bit overweight. The ramp's rubber feet hold the ramp securely in place on the car's bumper. There are no hooks on this ramp that might damage your car's finish. And when folded, it fits into the cargo area of my car with room to spare. There are two things that some people might not like so much about this dog ramp. It is *not* a light weight product. It actually feels heavier than it looks. It's also slightly awkward to unfold and fold back up. The other thing is the built-in carrying handles. They aren't really "handles"...they're just cut outs in the sides of the ramp...kinda like those cut outs you see on some shipping cartons. They're a bit uncomfortable to use.But any negatives do not outweigh the benefits of this dog ramp. I wish I'd bought it years ago. If this one ever wears out, I'd buy another one. If maybe age or injury has weakened you or your dog, this is a product you do not want to be without. It's a quality product, made in the USA by Americans. I give it a Five-Star rating!

Do not buy the cheap ones here is why.
I was contemplating looking at a lot of others that were half this price. But they have some major flaws that you need to be aware about they use grip tape. This right here is not good for the dogs paw and it will cause issues. Also, it really isn’t as secure and the dog feels uneasy it’s slippery. This ramp uses rubber and then it has raised the bars on it. Super nice and very good for dogs. This one also has a 300 pound weight limit. The hinge on this is so much better than the cheaper ones. The plastic is thicker also. That means when your dog is using it it’s going to be more secure and they’re going to be more confident. The last thing you’re gonna want is your dog on it and it’s going to slide. I also wish I would’ve got this from my big dog along time ago. It would’ve been so much easier on his joints. Think about this if you have a bigger dog, it really is hard on their joints, jumping down from your car. You cannot go wrong with this ramp. I tried to buy cheap and I received cheap. And then when I got this one, now I know why it cost more money. Not to mention it has rubber on all parts of its feet, so that way it does not slide. The other ones do not have that.

Older dogs get to enjoy more car rides
Very well made, simple to assemble, leave yourself plenty of room to set up when you are looking for parking. Don’t try to use “just part of it” (my mistake) because it will be too steep. It is exactly the right elevation and pitch, has rubber grip treads. Now this will be unfamiliar to your pup, so please please do as suggested in the instructions and let your dog walk on a section of ramp on a flat surface over several training sessions (and maybe elevate to a low couch or a step to get them used to the idea. Always supervise when in use!! Don’t just leave it up! Our dog has some vision issues and can’t always see the edge. Try treats before ever using to get him/her into the car. Then, on go day (and every time) Get a firm short grip on your best friend’s leash or collar/harness, and block the open side of ramp with your body while you guide your pup along and up it (always with your body alongside to close that gap) so he/she doesn’t scramble and fall off, and then be injured or become distrustful of using it. Always do this, because your best friend will be excited to get into the car and will try to hurry, and that would be awful if they forget their infirmity and go sideways. Trust me on this. We made this mistake and we felt awful when this happened and our dog was bruised for over a week because we didn’t introduce him to it first. Save your back with this ramp. It is heavy duty, great for getting our 14-yr old mix into the truck for more car rides.

meets my need to support my english mastiff
The ramp is as described and arrived quickly. The tread material seems to work very well to keep my dog from slipping (although we haven't tried it in the rain yet). It folds and unfolds quite easily and securely fastens to the vehicle bumper for a sturdy ramp. The only thing that could make it better is if it was a bit wider. My mastiff has feet that seem go everywhere when he runs up the ramp. I feel like I really need to watch/guide him every time. I would recommend to others if you're considering a pet ramp.

Strong
This is the strongest and most useful dog ramp for big dogs I've found. My 115 lb lab feels safe. Only issue I have with it, is that it is big to store in the car. But so worth it for big dog safety.

Excellent Product
WeatherTech has always made excellent quality products, and this ramp was no exception. I bought it as my dog is aging and needs to avoid high-impact jumps. The ramp is very sturdy and extremely easy to assemble/disassemble; you can easily do it in one movement once you get the hang of it. Another positive aspect is that you can assemble/disassemble with gloves (and snow gloves) on; there's no switch to operate or handle to latch). Make sure, however, that your fingers are properly placed in the space made for your hand. If it closes inadvertently (e.g. due to high wind gusts) and your hand is not in the right place, you'll feel it (believe me). The ramp has edges on the sides that prevent your dog from falling. In addition, it really holds 300 lbs. I'm 130lbs and my dog is 90lbs, and it held both of us without problem when we first tried it.

Very sturdy
Bought this for my 8 year old husky who is now 7 weeks post TPLO surgery. Best thing I could have bought. I have another Husky and us it for him as well. No more jumping into and out of the car. This ramp folds and fits in the car perfectly. Opens and closes with ease. You do need to train your dog if they have never used a ramp.Highly recommend this product

Excellent dog ramp
While this ramp is a little bit more expensive than others, you also get what you pay for. This ramp is super sturdy, well constructed and surprisingly light for its size. It easily folds open and has openings for your hands on both sides to carry it. I bought this to make it easier for my dog to get in and out of the backseat of my Jeep Gladiator and it works like a charm. I have to angle it just slightly to fit it due to the rear door angle but it took only a minute for my dog to figure out how to maneuver it. My dog is 75lbs and the ramp is plenty strong. It fits perfectly behind the front seat when folded up. I highly recommend this ramp if you want to save your back from having to lift your dog in your vehicle and to make it easier for your furkid to join you on your adventures.

Excellent value
I am 73 and can lift this in and out of the car to set up. Folds up easily, not flimsy, good surface for the dogs to walk up, not slippery at all. Highly recommend. More expensive than some, but worth the extra cost. Have used it for over a year in all weather and it was easy to train the dogs...you start on a lower slant and as soon as they approach you give a treat, they touch with a paw, treat, gradually lure with treat and my dogs learned what to do in about 10 mins!

Excellent
Great product! Highly recommend. The ramp works great for our 60lb senior dog, who can no longer jump into our car/SUV. We had to teach our dog how to use it over a few days, but now the dog really likes the ramp and we don't need to lift them up/down. It cleans easily for muddy paws. Good grip and quality of plastic even in freezing or hot summery conditions.

Sturdy but awkward to handle
Well made ramp but wish it had a carry handle as it is quite awkward & heavy for a smaller, older person to handle. 10 year old GSD, 95 pounds learned to use it quickly & it is very sturdy, easily cleaned, & good surface for traction. It is about 18 pounds which does make for the sturdiness but awkward to open & place for travel storage especially since it has just side openings for your hand to fit for carrying & no lock to keep it folded. It does fit nicely in the back door of a 2008 F150 super cab & has good rubber grips to place on ground & floor of truck so it does not slide. Overall I do recommend this ramp for big to average people & dogs but be prepared for the weight of it if you are a small or older person.
