I bought 3 of the Astilbe plants, they were very well packaged and survived the 5-7 day shipping time. they were healthy and started going the minute I planted them. I am very satisfied.

Plant shipped in som soil. Planted immediately in shade garden in Florida. Didn’t take long for new growth to appear and within a few weeks was blooming. Hope it makes it through the Florida summer.

Trimmed down for the season
Mine was trimmed way back I'm guessing for shipping reasons and the season. Still a very healthy plant. Just not nearly as robust as I was hoping it would be. Can't wait to see how it explodes next summer.
