Works well to a point, but the metal is softer than I'd expect and after extensive use the nuts occasionally jam in the socket, damaging the socket and requiring a lot of effort to remove.A handy tool to remove stubborn / damaged nuts and bolts, but consider it a consumable.

I purchased to remove a broken locking wheel nut, but wouldn't grip it. Rounded nuts are OK, but after removing the spinning wheel from the outside, leaving the locking nut, this wouldn't grip it at all.

Used these to remove my wheel nut's (x3) with the 22mm as i lost the key. Saved me £150 at the auto repairs and time as they qouted 2 hours and with this it took me less than 10 mins all together. well worth the price and worth having about. As described and after 3 removals the socket screw looked untouched and the back side had a few straches but hitting with a club hammer i was ecpecting it to crack but only a small scratch.

My locking wheel nuts had a solid collar, so this tool had all 4 off in under 5 minutes. If you have the spinning collar type, this tool probably won't work.

Had to use the 21mm socket to remove locking wheel nuts, on the first try the grip Teeth didn't grip and rounded off. My son had the same kit but his worked a treat so I suggest there is a quality issue.

After watching a number of videos on YouTube I decided that wheel nut removal sockets were the only solution I'd be able to carry out myself. Much cheaper than using a mechanic and it's a very simple method of removing damaged wheel nuts.
