Easy to apply and works well
I apply Spectra 360 gel to my SlenderTone abdominal and bicep/tricep pads before every use. I use my SlenderTone devices 5 to 6 times per week, and the pads will last 2 months before I need to change to a new set of pads. After I apply the Spectra 360 gel, the conductivity of the pads is excellent, and I feel it helps prolong the life of my pads. In addition, the gel is inexpensive and a good investment.

A significant improvement in HRM strap conductivity
A very good product at a very good price for two large tubes. I used to just use water to moisten my Polar HRM chest straps to aid conductivity and have never used any kind of gel. Using water was fine when the chest straps were made from a cloth material (next to the skin) and would never dry out during periods of inactivity and conductivity (and hence the quality of HR data) would be maintained. Once Polar went to a flexible plastic inner surface for their straps I found that the water (then just sweat) would dry out during rest periods and my HR trace (downloaded from the "watch" to Polar software and viewed on the computer) would show what I call "clipping", i.e. the high peaks and low valleys of the trace would be cut off and show a "flat line" instead of the actual max and mins. Since this clipping would occur, even after installing a new battery in the sensor (in both the chest sensor and watch if it was appropriate), I figured the only other factor was the dryness of the plastic chest strap.I recently upgraded to the Polar H1 sensor (highly recommended for the extreme ease of battery change out - no more stripped out plastic battery cover) and of course it came with a plastic backing chest strap. I didn't want to pay the exorbitant price for a name brand gel so I checked out the Spectra 360 here at Amazon, bought the 2 pack, and have used it for the past few days for a total of about 20 hours. Shazam! No clipping, no cutting off, no loss of HR data (which significantly impacts internal Polar calorie burn calculations).I apply it sparingly, using a thin line of gel along the entire length of the plastic backing. I don the strap slightly off-center so I can slide it into place and "smear" the gel a bit under the strap for better coverage. At the end of the day I just wipe off the excess gel from the strap, vigorously hand wash my strap in a weak solution of liquid detergent and water, rinse it, and hang it up to dry overnight (alternating between two straps to extend the life of both). The two tubes should last a while but not forever since I use my Polar everyday. Sorry, grand kids.............you'll have to get your own!

Good to have spare
Just as advertised

It's not as good as I thought it would be and very messy to use.
Its messy to use I found wipes that work better and have better adhesive factor.

Great Value!
This is kind of standard stuff. Selling points: Big tubes, great value, clean! And that's what mattered to me for use with my cycling heart rate monitor. Goop up the chest strap with a little of this and my HRM is instantly receiving a signal even while just starting to exercise in the super dry days of winter where it would take awhile for enough sweat to form to make contact. Clean, easy to rinse off the little bit of dried residue on my chest strap that accumulates after a bunch of uses.

Application gel
This gel is wonderful at keeping the sensors in great condition so I don't have to constantly buy new sensors! It's saving me money! Love it.
