I just stand them up and set the ziplock in between to fill with prepped crockpot meal ingredients or leftovers to go into the freezer. These stands certainly make filling the bags so much easier than trying to hold a bag open with one hand and a ladle in the other. Worth it for when you need it!

These work fine for filling items for freezing. The bags do slip off sometimes but overall they work well.

Not only are these good for holding ziplock bags (any size) to fill with leftovers, they are wonderful to hold a large ziplock bag to fill with puzzle pieces.

I often see these in those lists of gadgets not to waste your money on. I totally disagree! Those lists must be written by people who never have leftovers or make freezer-prep meals, or they have helpers in the kitchen. My cat is not a good kitchen helper - she can't hold a bag open when I try to dump leftover chili or stew into it. This gadget does the trick. I like that you can adjust the height to accommodate whatever size bag you're using (pro tip: don't raise it too high. You'll want the bottom of the bag touching the counter. Otherwise, the bag may unclip from the holder when you dump something heavy in). I love that the arms fold down for easy storage. I like to make freezer meals for my crockpot, and these are perfect to hold a 1-gallon bag as you prep and add each ingredient. The review wanted me to rate the suction power, but I don't think these are intended to have any suction. They do have a rubber ring around the base to prevent it from sliding, and that works fine; suction isn't necessary.

I love these. So easy to keep the bags open with these holders. The bottoms are suctions so they don't move while using them. Easy to insert the bags on to keep them open. I like that you can fold the arms down for easy storing.

I have seen this while shopping online many times but never thought I needed it. Now that I bought one, I have no idea how I lived this long without it. It's a game changer. Easy to use and very inexpensive.

Works good for smaller bags not large ones. Mostly use it to drain grease into a bag which works great. Can be unstable if you pour stuff inside bags fast. If you pour slow, it does not tip over. Very easy to store in drawers
