Disappointed for the money
I purchased this backpack for my 3rd grade son. I figured it was pricier than some other brands, but being North Face it should last him for many years to come. Sadly, within the first month the exterior water bottle pockets had holes simply from setting the bag down with a bottle in place (the fabric is VERY thin/flimsy.) So now we have to place a strap through a water bottle handle in order to keep it from falling straight through (and even with that, the bottle will completely sag down through the hole.) After several months of operating in this way, now one of the straps on the side has completely torn off at the seam. I always thought North Face products had a good reputation for quality, but I am sorely disappointed in this purchase.

Weak bottle holders
Side bottle holders started ripping after a few months of usage - not expected from an expensive backpack like this. My previous northface backpack lasted me 5 years with no issues. Backpack is now almost unusable because I can’t store any bottles
