This is our sole duvet at this time and wow!
It's great! It's comfortable and I feel like it's protecting our comforter while also protecting us. It's also breathable and soft.

Blocks Out EVERYTHING
I am thrilled with this cover as I needed to replace my 12-year-old cover (very expensive when I purchased it from an allergy specialty store). I tried washing this new one and forgot to unzip it; couldn't get it to submerge. Finally, after running the washer 3 full cycles and fruitless attempts to push it down, realized I needed to unzip it. This sold me as I want to block out dust mites. The light-weightness of the cover is a huge factor as well in my selection, and the price, too. There is a tiny bit of noise and it comes out wrinkled from the dryer, even though I dried it on low, and shook it out multiple times while drying. (My old one is silent, soft, and although cotton, wrinkle-free)...but for the 5-star price, the light-weightness, and that it blocks dust mites, I am exceedingly pleased. Have slept with it two nights, and sleep like a baby! Gives quality sleep. Best sleep I've had this entire year.

No Regrets
The formaldehyde smell was bad, but it went away completely after soaking it in vinegar and baking soda, and then letting it air dry. The zipper could be sturdier, and I'm not sure if there is room for bedbugs to slip though at the edge. I like it because I can wash it for dust allergies. It also comes with ties to die the blanket inside. It does make some noise when moving, but I don't notice it much. Lastly it came stitched with the OEKO-TEX certification which showed some legitimacy. Overall I'm satisfied and don't have regrets.

Works for me!
My allergist recommended dust mite covers for our duvet, pillows & mattress as a first step in reducing my allergy symptoms. I was looking for a light weight, non-crinkly fabric & an easy to use duvet cover. Other reviewers mentioned that this product had these attributes, & I am happy to agree. Another nice feature is that each inside corner has ties for securing your comforter or blanket to keep it from shifting inside the cover. The fabric is a nice crisp white & is nice enough to use without a duvet cover if you like a plain white bed. It is also very wrinkle resistant & has a nearly full-length zipper which is very helpful. I also purchased the pillow covers, which I have reviewed separately, from the same manufacturer. I am very pleased with both & feel they were a worthwhile investment to minimize my allergy symptoms.

King size fits like a full
The media could not be loaded. For almost $70 each I was very hopeful. These fit like a full. Where my king duvet insert once fit perfectly inside my king duvet cover it now is bunched inside the “king” protector. I am so disappointed in this product. Says it was made in the USA but it fits like it was made in China.

Excellent!
I purchased two of these pillow covers and the duvet cover which is also made by Allersoft. Both are lovely, excellent quality. I will be purchasing more of these for the rest of the household pillows.Recently, I was reminded of how gross dust mites can bee to the beds and pillows. It's one of those things that people hear over the years and might try to ignore (I have in the past). Something triggered in me this time, though, and I was on a mission to seal all of the items we sleep on. I did not want to get rid of my favorite feather/down pillows but couldn't stand the thought of what is in them after 10 years. I took a chance and washed them in my front loading washing machine on the sanitize cycle, extra hot water, with bleach, 3 times each (my husband was shaking his head a lot through this whole process). I figured if they didn't fall apart, we were good for another ten years! I dried them in the dryer with a few tennis balls. Then, placed them outside on a non-humid, dry, sunny day in the sun for a few hours. I then encased them in two of these covers. And, I will be purchasing an additional duvet cover to go over the top of the other duvet cover. I purchased the Allersoft duvet as a protectant layer/dust mite barrier for the down comforter and then was going to purchase some other duvet topper. But I like the look of the white duvet so much (and it is really great quality), I thought I will keep all the bed linens white. When I started looking for just a plain white duvet cover to go over the Allersoft layer, they were just as much or more for what I am sure would be a lesser quality (duvet was around $75 for king size).I know it sounds a little excess, but, by covering the allergy layer with another white, Allersoft cover, I can wash that additional layer as much as I want without worrying about degrading the fabric. The care instructions state to only wash twice a year which with those instructions and reviews elsewhere leads me to believe that the tight weave of this fabric, which is what makes it the allergen barrier, could start to loosen up after repeated washings.I am extremely happy these are 100% cotton and made in the USA.

High-Quality Protector!
I sleep with a down blanket, and the feathers escape every now and then. This protector is just what I needed to keep them from going airborne. The blanket fits perfectly inside, it zips easily and is made from quality cotton... and most importantly, the feathers cannot get loose any longer. I'm quite happy.

thick cotton, but very noisy
this was advertised as noiseless. but very very noisy when one moves in bed. Although I was pleased to find an allergy/dust mite duvet cover that was 100% cotton ..noise is a big issue for me when I sleep. This was not a cheap investment, but it's way too noisy. Not happy.

Does the job
This is literally the only affordable one I could find to buy, but it mostly does the job. My feather down doona constantly had feathers coming out and this stopped that. Occasionally one will still come out but that's it. A good buy.

Works great. And here are the sizes available:
I bought this primarily to reduce the number of feathers that escape the comforter and dig their way into my sheets or to the top of the comforter cover, where they stick to any clothing I lay out on the bed. And for that, it works great. If it also reduces allergens, that's just a bonus.Note about sizing: Amazon.ca doesn't carry every size, and Amazon.com carries more sizes but doesn't list the measurements at all, so it was a bit of an annoying process to determine the right size when I bought this. So here it is, right from the packaging of the one I bought:Twin = 66" x 86"Long Twin = 70" x 90"Full/Queen = 86" x 86"Long Full/Queen = 96" x 92"King = 106" x 86"Long King = 110" x 98"My bed is a Queen. My comforter and cover are both Queen, but both are a bit bigger than 86" x 86". And the cover is a bit bigger than the comforter. So there was already a bit of "empty" cover area at the sides, but it wasn't noticeable. My comforter is 90" wide, so when I put it into the cover it became 86" wide. No big deal - it didn't bunch up or fold over, so it must have just stayed thicker. And now there's at least 2" of empty space at the sides of the cover, but again, not an issue - can't see or feel any problem with it.Installation was reasonably quick and easy. The feather madness has almost completely stopped, and I suspect that the few I've seen since installing this were already in the cover from before (I couldn't get them all out). The assembled set (comforter, this cover, and my fake suede cover) seem very slightly heavier and warmer than before, but I like that. The room is cold at night and the warm bed is awesome.I hope this helps someone with their shopping choice.Cheers

Wonderful Product!
This dust mist cover works perfectly. Luxurious feel to it. It's got some weight to it. Like having two thick sheets. I personally like sleeping with weighty blankets so this is not a problem.I really like the small ties in the corners to keep the duvet in place inside the cover. That was an unexpected, simple, and appreciated feature! If you are looking for a dust mite cover for a duvet, this is a great product.

Feels great
It's soft and moves and feels like a sheet, unlike some other allergen covers I've tried which were almost like a tarp. Got here quickly and in great shape.
