Great way to vertically secure trailer ramp/tailgate
The tailgate/ramp of my trailer which I use to haul lawnmowers etc. was held shut vertically by two pins, one on each side, which were fastened to the trailer and held in position by springs. One of them somehow came out while driving and was lost, so I needed a replacement pin the right diameter and length. Although this hitch pin was not designed for this, it worked perfectly and I highly recommend it. I could have just used a bolt and nut, but this was about the same price and the cotter pin was quicker and easier to insert and remove than having to fasten a nut each time, and wouldn't loosen and fall off.

It’s a pin. Its quality was adequate for my needs. Met the description as it should have. Glad I found this source. I would happily purchase again if the need arose.

Back up for Ice Castle crank
This fit good for my Ice Castle, I do add a washer depending on which winch I have it on. Got one as a backup and it fits either wheel or tongue winch.

Works pretty good but not real strong
I use this to connect for small yard cart to my riding mower. But after hauling some rocks in my cart, I noticed the shaft on the pin was bent...not the best metal used in manufacturing but it is easy to use

works great on pull behind grass catcher
This was a great replacement for hitch pin on my craftsman pull behind grass catcher. Just needed to drill hole 4" from bottom. Craftsman has stopped making the pin that came with it
