Pilot Kneeboard for Smartphones, Mini Tablets, iPhone, iPad Mini, Android

I use it for the daily commute. Phone on my thigh seems to fall aside. It's handy when you need to stop to answer an email or to play Pokémon Go and return to driving quickly. The band is very adjustable. The phone, S23 Ultra, is held nicely and snug.

This is a sturdy, easy-to-use knee holder for small devices. Quickly adjustable, good strap and quality components…highly recommended!

Does ok for what it is. Plastic is cheaper quality. Went a different route for mounting but would work but not ideal for my application.

The first time I tried this holder it was instantly clear the design was never tested and is irreparably flawed. The base is only a few inches wide and a coupe inches long so it is completely unstable against your thigh. A normal kneeboard is usually the full width of your leg and about ten inches long. Without even moving or trying to touch the screen the holder just flops forward and back under just the weight of the ipad mini.

I fly helicopters and the way this mount works. It elevates off your leg off of a smaller pivot point that creates a vibration point and a tilt point when it’s on your leg it also makes it higher on certain helicopters gets in the way for Cyclic control stick. I had to go with the product that straps tight down to your leg and also can rotate with very little height clearance.

I'm delighted with the Pilot Kneeboard for Smartphones! It has become an essential companion for me during flights, securely holding my iPhone 12 Max Pro in place while using my app Garmin Pilot. The sturdiness on my lap is impressive, allowing me to access important information and navigation apps with ease while flying. I searched for a long time before finding a solution that is secure and has great orientation options. The cockpit of the Diamond DA40 is comfortable and provides spectacular visibility, but it also has notoriously limited space for mounting/holding essential compute and display devices to provide charts and flight path and planning utilities. Because of the tight environment, I use a relatively small device, an iPhone Pro Max, with Foreflight to fly both VFR & IFR. This device is wonderful; the grip on the smartphone is perfect and the wide adjustable band secures the unit to the thigh equally well. I never fly without it.

Product in unable to hold an iPad mini stable when angled away from the pilot. The mount does not allow for the iPad to be angled toward the pilot without pulling the strap away from your leg. It is unstable, too large for what it accomplishes and there are better products.
