Phanteks Eclipse P500A Mid Tower Case, Black

This case is exactly what I needed. This is what I'd call an airflow king! It's a solid construction, with tons of room for whatever you truly want to throw at it. I've seen reviews on the 3 front fans can be quite noisy, but I don't think it's that bad. It's no noctua but by far nothing I've used in 2015. Love the extra screw box you get, that is seriously a nice touch. Cable management is a breeze in this case, and have plenty of room to add more things if I wanted to. (I am using cable extentions too.) Keeps my 3070 quite cool at around 64°C peak after playing lots of a very unoptimized Halo Infinite at 1440p high settings. CPU never got above 60°C. So I'd consider this a true beast of a case. The accent lights on the side are a staple of Phanteks and look great. The rgb on the front fans look great as well. The side glass panel is super easy to open with its swivel design. Can easily fit a 360mm radiator, and has room for 7 fans! The only thing I wish it had was a splitter cable for the pwm on the front case fans, so it's not maxing my sys fan ports. Overall amazing case for a novice or enthusiast!

I've got this case for a couple of weeks now, I appreciate the quality/sturdiness. The 2 included fans are super good for stock fans. They are within a hair of performance and quietness compared to the Arctic fans I replaced them with (I got a 5-pack of Arctic fans, so I am only using those now, but I will keep the Phanteks stock fans for another build or for friends who need them). I spent many hours researching cases, and in the end I was mostly debating between this one (or its rgb variant) and the o11 dynamic. To be honest I was tempted by the o11 because of its look, but the Phanteks P500A seems to be better for airflow/temperatures and is much cheaper. I'm happy with the quality, with the space to route cables behind the chassis, and the sober look. I don't think you can go wrong with it. You don't need to replace any of the stock fans, just add more fans if you need them. In my case (no pun intended) I replaced the fans with Arctic P14's because I ordered a pack of 5, and I got an Arctic 280 water cooling AIO for the CPU.

I purchased the P500A to replace my old Enthoo Pro case and the Phanteks design language of ease of building and customization still remains true. The 3 included(!) case fans are a great value and in addition to the case fans, I added a matching SK140 DRGB fan for rear exhaust along with a 280mm AIO on top and the system runs at 68C during stress testing. Very impressive. + Swiveled tempered glass door panel is a huge improvement over the traditional thumb screws + Plenty of room for top mounted AIO (originally looked at P400A but radiator clearance was a concern from multiple reviews) + PSU bracket makes installation a breeze and easy to add/remove additional cables + GPU anti-sag bracket seems to do the job effectively and discreetly + Plenty of velcro ties and included zip-ties for cable management on back panel + Built-in lighting modes are plentiful and provide a tasteful amount of "rainbow puke" :) - Front fans are mounted inside the case (obstructing the view of the fans) and there is barely not enough clearance to place the stock 140mm fans directly behind the mesh panel..maybe a design oversight? - Gap in PSU shroud near front fan (see first photo). This was likely done to allow for better airflow with the bottom front fan but the gap is fairly large and exposes some of the cables underneath - Bottom panel only has dust filters for PSU fan..not a concern for my fan configuration but worth noting Overall, Phanteks found the right balance between practical features and price point and can see myself sticking to this case for several more years. There are many other options with a front mesh panel but the P500A is the complete package.

Great case, big upgrade in airflow and size from my NZXT H500. Sleek and clean design and worth the price.... BUT, there is truly one issue I have with this case... the fans not being PWM... I looked all over the manual and assumed the fans were the SK140 DRGBs seeing that Phanteks doesn't market any non-PWM RGB fans on their website. I search alllll over the web to find out what types of fans they were (because I was being lazy and didn't feel like looking at the model number on the back of the actual fans lol). It was not until I searched through the Amazon question section and saw other reviews that I got the confirmation that these were indeed NOT PWM fans (I also figured they weren't when I went into my BIOS to mess with the fan settings and realized that when I switched them to PWM the fans went to 100% on silent). If Phanteks charged an even $150 for this case, even $160 and threw in the SK140s... this would be an easy 10/10... instead its a 9/10 (which is still an A, but its just not perfect lol). I highly recommend this case, but you will likely need to swap out the fans if you want true silence. Besides that, you got a nearly perfect case.

Solid case, going on 4 years almost. Cable management 👍🏽 Aesthetic👍🏽 Fans🤷🏽‍♂️ they could be better. There’s always at least 1 of the original fans that tried to but can’t spin up. Noise level is moderate, not too loud but also not quiet when on a AAA title

Boitier de bonne qualité, avec en grandf point fort un airflow très soigné ( devant tout en mesh, tout est lisse dedans pour que l'air s'écoule bien, câble management bien pensé) qui permet à la configuration d'être bien refroidie. Beaucoup de place àl'intérieur. A iso configuration de ventilateurs 140mm entre 5V et 7V), comparé à mon ancien boitier Corsair, j'ai perdu près de 10/15°c sur la carte graphique et entre 5 et 10 pour le CPU. (RTX3080 et Amd R7 5800X3d) Packaging et visserie en plein. Il manquait juste une vis pour un des clips de passages cables, mais j'ai pu me débrouiller.

Nice and roomy inside, very high quality case with hinged side panel that locks via magnets. Makes accessing the interior really easy. Dust filters work fantastically. Plenty of USB ports, all function nicely and quick. Fits a 4090 inside no problems and allows fantastic airflow and cooling. Comes with two stock fans but I added more.

Ho preso questo case dopo un'attenta valutazione e le aspettative sono state rispettate a pieni voti! Il case è stupendo, robusto, spazioso, intuitivo. Il cable management è favoloso, al tatto e alla vista i materiali sono premium. Il design spacca, la mesh frontale con una foratura così piccola permette un air flow pazzesco e non accumula eccessiva polvere. Il pannello in vetro temprato si apre a sportello quindi niente perdite di tempo con le viti e questo favorisce anche una maggior costanza di pulizia, quindi ancora meno polvere! (consiglio l'aria compressa per pulire gli interni). Ci sono anche delle chicche: tra le quali un anti scivolamento per la gpu da montare sul retro! Voto: 10!!!

Best casing at this price so far. Full RGB 140 MM Fans and easy air flow is excellent. The only problem is that, 140 MM front fans a rea noisy. Otherwise perfect casing for my high end CPU's. Regards, Mazhar
