I use them to replace shorter reeds which weren't giving enough scent and they do the trick! Reeds need to be double the size of the scented oil decanter and some reeds that come with the decanter are too short.

I had been using natural color reed diffusers in my bathrooms, and they would show a liquid line halfway up, making them two colors. I decided to replace them with the dark brown, and I am very happy with them. These are just the right height for my jars, and they look more elegant than the natural color.

They’re cute looking in the bottle but they don’t really throw a scent very well. The cheap little wooden ones that came with the oil actually did a better job, even though they’re thin and ugly looking. I’d pass on these unless you are only interested in them as their ally
