When my screen broke I figured I was in for an expensive replacement, then my daughter, the lil' Milenia says "Just change it yourself, they sell the screens on Amazon". The research started, I ordered this kit and 2 days later I began my Phone-Smith efforts. It was easy to do for me as I am used to working with RC equipment so small screws, electronics and delicate connections comes naturally for me. Once I started it took less than 45 minutes to complete the change. BUT, when I tested the phone the ear piece speaker did not work, the contacts were not properly aligned so I opened it back up, repaired the error and it was back together and working perfectly in 15 minutes.Now the LOL fact. After making the change and before trashing the "broken" screen I began to peel off the screen protector to reveal a screen that was not cracked at all. It was a tempered glass screen protector that was broken, so now I have a spare.If your screen is broken, and you have confirmed it isn't just your screen protector, you are at least moderately mechanically inclined buy this kit

The product works as advertised. The installation took about 1.5hours including previewing the instructions. The tools that come with the package are suited for the job, but don't count on them being high quality. Basically, the black plastic tool to pry the small cables is probably a single use tool as the tip is brittle. The screen itself is obviously not made by Apple suppliers. If you examine the replacement screen and the components on them vs the original one you can tell the quality difference. No issue as it works. The main point here is to provide future fellow users some pointers about the instruction. The uninstall part is good with adequate pointers. The only thing to be careful during the re-install is the order of the connectors on the replacement screen. The LCD sensor connector on the product I received for whatever reason ended up as the last connector and swapped with the front facing camera sensor. These two look nearly identical. The easiest way to tell them apart is that the front facing camera sensor cable has a couple of holes on it. That should be the last cable to install. I found out they were swapped when I tried to screw the EMI shield plate back on and couldn't because the cable was blocking a couple of screw holes. That prompted me to look very carefully at the tutorial video and noticed the difference in the orders. With a little careful adjustment, I was able to re-order them such that the install could be finished. All said and done, every thing works. I would say that this requires someone who is detailed, careful, and patient. Screws are very small. Clean workbench is definitely required.

What a excellent company. The repair went as well as I could expect with my skills. However after completing the phone would not even boot up. I contacted the company and they offered to rectify the situation and I send it into them and they did a one-day turnaround back to me. The cause of the problem was my fault when I reassembled the phone I had a cable improperly connected to the wrong area . There was no extra charge for helping me like this and in today's world it is very rare to find a company so dedicated and swift to resolve a customers issues and problems that were not caused by the product . I wholeheartedly recommend this company and the items they sell. In closing I will just say that changing the screen on an iPhone 6 Plus is a very difficult task and requires tremendous concentration and patience to do but the video the company supplies is in valuable in taking you through all of the steps

Fit exactly. Everything was exactly as described. It took about 1.5 hours because a tiny phillips screwdriver included began to strip and had to modify the tip so I could complete the process. (I sanded the tip off so it could still work). The Youtube video was very helpful except on one section where the thumb/fingers of the presenter blocked the tabs/contacts he was snapping into place in a certain order as 3-4 of them overlap.5 stars except for the screwdriver and short section of video that added about a half hour to the process.I used to put models together when I was younger and that was helpful here...I would definitely order again now that I know what it takes to complete. I was nervous during the process, but it was like Christmas when I finished and turned on the power button and the phone was like new. It has worked great ever since. I am very happy with this order.

Everything worked flawlessly just stop and watch the video if your uncertain of anything and keep track of screw placement. Only thing I would improve is the Phillips screw driver seems to not fit the larger headed screws as well and either strips them or the tool itself becomes damaged so care must be taken when removing all screws as they have lock tight on them and ample pressure must be aplied as you turn to loosen or tighten to avoid damaged or un removable screws. Or have a good set of small drivers available which is fine but defeats the purpose of buying the complete kit. But for the money it definitely works well and gets the job done if your careful.

Its noticeable dimmer than the original screen. I like the tools that came with it but the screw driver to take out the first 2 bottom screws didn't fit. But luckily I already have a screw driver that works for those screws. The video directions were great and very detailed. The worst part of the whole thing is now my front facing mic doesn't work. I can facetime and use speaker phone but I can't use Facebook video, take a selfie video or talk to Siri. This is a common problem when replacing screens on iPhone 6/6 Plus.
