Awesome product. Still working as new after two years.

Ordered the 2x10M rolls version. Usual 44-key remote control. LED's are 6cm apart, so quite spaced out. Power lead (in-between the plugs) is 88cm so quite short compared to other kits and does not have any adaptor box half way along it. Returned as power lead too short in this instance and LED's are quite far apart.

Kits ok with bits n bobs to go around corners etc , but LEDs are spaced one in every 3 (that's 30 per metre) , so not very bright . Controller receiver box wasn't up to much , barely received it's own remote signal and the remote itself was very basic compared to others available at the same price . Ordered a different receiver on eBay from another seller for a a few ££s . Maybe I was unlucky n got a dodgy intermittent set . But I can use the rest of the kit for projects in the future . Handy having Amazon for delivery reliability and eBay for individual parts not found on Amazon :-)

This is a good product at face value but does have some drawbacks. The app and remote do the job but are a bit basic (no ability to customise your own colour scheme or order). The adhesive is brilliant and there’s plenty of lights to cover my whole bedroom ceiling (with lights to spare).What is annoying however are some of the lights have defected and show up a different colour on almost all settings (photos attached). I wouldn’t say the lights have been on excessively so to see this kind of deterioration after a few months is disappointing but not a massive deal.What is annoying is the lights don’t really turn off completely, there’s a resident faded blue light that stays on forever. Although it is faint and can give off a kind a twinkly starry night effect if I’m being kind, some lights are more prominently lit when I’m trying to sleep which is annoying.Turning the lights off by the power socket fixes the problem, but my room set up means the switch is in an inconvenient place, but I shouldn’t need to worry about that, pressing off on the remote/app should mean the lights are off, but this isn’t so and it really does let itself down in this case.

The first purchase of LEDs came in three rolls but there was a fault on the power connector. Exchange was rapid, second box is two rolls and generally a slightly different offering but liked great when put up. Adhesion hasn’t been great so will need to supplement with 3M or similar.Range of lighting colours, movements and brightness are great with the remote control but we haven’t been able to pair either sets of LEDs through the app, which is a shame as this looks to offer much more functionality with syncing to music and alarms offered

Work quite well, they come in 2 7.5 meter reels so excellent for TV units etc
