They fit well and the padding is top rate too. I've tried other types but the padding seems 'flat' and thin compared to these? I also have metalwork in my spine and although they don't protect me from the awful quality of the roads they do an amazing job on paths and cycleways.Don't wash with any softening ingredients in the water, use gentle wash liquid and a very short wash, spin gently and dry away from direct heat. Had these for years now, used and washed regularly without any issue or slackening off. They have become caught a wee bit on jaggy bushes, but would need to be teflon-coated to avoid that type of damage, I'm quite sure?SHEERNESS, I gave 2 stars as they are nice and silky to wear but you cannot see through them - if that's what sheer means here??

Good fit. Good quality. Good padding. Comfortable. Don't ride up. Bought another pair. Good value. Wash well.

Comfortable and convenient for cycling

Bought these shorts for spinning (indoor cycling classes) They are well padded which is essential for comfort. The pockets are a good addition, and they wash well. I may even get another pair

I love these, really comfortable and a great fit. Side pocket is quite deep and fits my enormous phone. Got caught in the rain with them a couple of times as well, they are very quick to dry

Comfy shorts, decent chamois, but worn once, washed once and already they look worn where the pattern is similar to those in a picture on a previous review that I saw before my purchase. I’m going on a 3 week cycle tour and I’ll be alternating them with another pair of shorts, so I hope they don’t fall apart on me…. I’ll update when I’m done.

I’m not a cyclist, I got these for a spin bike because I have no idea how people sit on a bike for any period of time without something like this. I find they make a big difference although it’s still not comfortable (bits still go numb!). They are true to size and have some sort of silicone/ grip round the thighs to stop riding up. The review asked about sheerness, not sure why as people would be more concerned with the huge pad that sicks out and not whether they can see your underwear (but they aren’t sheer).

They are very comfortable and fit super well. The padding is just perfect and I can wear them outside and look good (not big padding that you can look like you’re wearing baby diapers).I will buy them again!

Best of the bike shorts I've purchased on Amazon in a while. Very supple fabric, wears well, great padding. No itchy elastics or other dodgy materials.
