Interesting and informative
This is a cross between an autobiography and a non-fiction story. Very cleverly written with each chapter switching from the author's own practice and then her own personal experience of psychotherapy and the links between the two. It helps the reader to understand the process of psychotherapy via real-life clients and her own progress through a difficult time. This book is interesting and informative. It would help someone who was contemplating psychotherapy to understand what happens in session. It allows you into the room of a treatment session to observe and understand some problems people have and how they surmount them.I actually listened to this book with the Audible version and found the author's voice very pleasant to listen too. An absolutely great 'read' for me.
