Goya Dry Red Kidney Beans, 14 oz

I soaked the kidney beans in water overnight after checking them to make sure the package of beans had no stones or debris in them. In the morning I put them in water in a vegetable steamer. They cookedfor about 45 minutes and were perfectly done. I used some of them in the chili I made. The rest werestored in my freezer. I will probably use them the next time I make a 3 bean salad. They are easy to makeand taste better then those that come from a can.

As I mentioned I purchased them for storage. I emptied then into an air tight container.

Now I'm getting paranoid. How is it possible that the only product with problems is the one that the policy protects against returns. Nobody in this country eats a product that comes open. It seems to me that it is an armed robbery, but instead of having guns the hand has policies.

Fresh works well in Chilli & other recipes.

I regularly cook a pot of beans to have on hand. The price of the dried beans was very inflated! I am in isolation due to Covid19, needed the beans, and paid the inflated price.

Thought the package was regular and a bit expensive but with his lockdown bought anyway. the package is less than what I'd get at the store for only a few dollars and this price is 3x's more

Good product. No stones/pebbles/dirt found while sorting beans.
