Did it's job! Sliced right through without snagging like some do. Works on semi frozen chicken too! Definitely can't beat the price.

While the kit itself is fine, and may work well for freshwater fish, the blades are rather flimsy and is little competition for something like a saltwater red drum. Like the idea of having it all together and organized, plus this is a nice size that fits into my fishing bag...but I may replace the knives over time for better ones. Not crazy about the plastic handles on the knives either...

Package is nice to maintain knife edge. Very nice looking and including the steel is fantastic. I’ll take a sharp knife over electric every time. Overall did not pay top shelf but I think value for the money spent is very good. A little more robust case would be an improvement. I’m introducing the steel and old school sharpening technique, best of all when the grid goes down he will still be able to fish and fillet when all the cordless knives take a quit. Lol shoal21

I forgot my fillet knife with my fishing stuff and needed to cut up some fish at home. I purchased this set. It arrived quickly and I was really surprised with how well it worked. For the money, I don't think you can beat this set.

This is a good combo, however lost its sharpness after the first use. For the price it’s still a good purchase.

Easy to take along for cleaning your fish case is sturdy as well
