work with regular drill?

Yes , drill down holding drill steady , pulling drill up to clear bit of cement powder from hole. Do several time until desired depth is achieved. Make sure tokeep drill steady so not to wobble hole out, so anchor will hold tight.

Has anyone used these to drill through ceramic tile? If so how did they work?

Use rotary motion only, no percussion! make a clay dam around the drill on the ceramic surface and fill it with water before drilling

duh! how do i remove them without tearing pouch???

If you look closely at the top 1 inch, , you will notice there appears to be a second layer of plastic. From that point upwards towards the top, the yellow backing can be separated from the front clear packaging. Its very sticky but can be separated without tearing the pouch. I found it best to hold the top next to a corner with one hand and with the other hand hold the side at the same corner. Then wiggle the package back and forth and you'll see the separation start at the corner.

why does it say "works with your CORDLESS hammer drill? do they work with a chorded drill?

Some masonry bits do not work with hammer drills in hammer mode. These bits will work with any any drill but work better in hammer mode.
