I've been buying beads for jewelry making from the bead chest for awhile now and I cannot stress enough how helpful this company is and how amazing the quality of the beads are. I've used these recycled glass beads for quite a few projects since they capture such a beautiful aesthetic on bracelets and necklaces. The 11mm goes perfectly for my bracelets and the 14mm is a perfect fit for my necklaces. I also love that they're straight from Africa and how it helps the artisans over there. I should also mention their jumbo version of these are amazing as home decor pieces! I bought a couple strands and placed one in a bowl as a center piece on my coffee table and another just spread across on some stacked books I have on my shelf :) 5/5 for this product and company!

I ordered beads at this site because I really liked the backstory that went along with the company. Helping third world countries/ companies help themselves seemed like a good thing to support. The beads are very nice looking but unfortunately not very rugged. I have used them in 2 bracelets so far and both times the beads have fractured and split. So I feel as though I’ve donated to a worthy cause but the product isn’t great.

Couldn't be more pleased, they are rustic and handmade looking with a lovely quality of light about them.I plan on using them in a art piece to hang in front of a window, and the light coming through them is fantastic.i would also like to try them in a chunky bracelet.I will be getting more!

These look so so good and a great deal. I had another set in my cart from a different seller that looked nearly identical, but was twice the price. I was nervous that these would come in small, or cheap looking. They were perfect!! Already planning to purchase in another color!

These beads are absolutely gorgeous. String of beads was well packed with plenty of paper in a small bubble envelope - cats got a sheet of paper to bat around and hide under. Almost wish they didn’t come with raffia over the cord so I could just hang them right around my neck. It’s almost a shame to take them off this pretty cord with raffia.Got 9mm clear beads to use for a necklace. I don’t think they’re rugged enough for bracelets; a good 1/3 of the beads have half-cracks in them which is prossibly due to rapid cooling in the fusion process - this is a perfectly natural occurrence.Made a beautiful simple necklace with these beads and with drilled pebbles. Have enough beads left over for maybe a bracelet, definitely a pair of earrings.Been collecting jewelry supplies for quite a while now but these beads finally got me my creative oomph back. 🤩Update: purchased more Bead Chest beads through Etsy - pricing is better, and if one purchases more than $35 worth one gets free shipping.

These beads were handcrafted in a kiln and they're imperfect and natural shape they took of the stone molds that they were fired in, make them truly unique and extra pristine in the ways of artisticness.

I am very impressed with the quality of the beads. This is the third set of beads I have bought from bead chest. I have received each set in just a couple of days of ordering. The beads were exactly what is described. I love how fast I received the beads and the quality. I will be definitely buying more from them in the future.

I used these in a macrame project for a friend. The color, size and texture are exactly what I was looking for.
