Tonemaker
Like most guitarists I am always searching for tone. I have a very respectable rig but I wanted a true 2 channel amp that would give me full gain capability on both channels. I also wanted something portable. The Dual Terror fits the bill very nicely. The original Tiny Terror channel is versatile. It's very responsive to touch but can peel the paint off the walls when you need it to. The Fat channel is deeper and very melodic with a hint of more drive giving you lots of tone and texture.I am a tube roller. For those not familiar that means I like to experiment with different valves (tubes) to alter my tone. This is a great rig for tube rolling because the different wattage switches allow you to slightly alter the overall sound of each channel. I am currently running several new old stock tubes in this head and have been very pleasantly surprised with the results. Before you buy an amp do yourself a favor and check out this one. It's really well constructed and very versatile.By the way. You can get a great sound at low volume levels but this thing really sings when you open it up! It's definitely loud enough to rehearse and gig with. I'll be posting a full review on conventionalcurrent.com soon. Don't go by, give it a try.

Best amp I've ever had.
PROS: Amazing sound. The two channels are awesome. Wide variety of sounds from just 3 knobs per channel. Play this through a nice cab with a nice guitar/nice cables. This thing will rock your socks off.CONS: Expensive. The amp costs a bunch & does not even include the foot switch. That's another $35. There is also no built in reverb or effects so you'll have to get pedals for any of that stuff you want. The only other problem is it seems to be a very delicate amp to ship. My first 2 arrived damaged so I sent them back. My 3rd order arrives less damaged so I kept it because I can live with a little dent. The first two were very dented in on the sides with chipped paint. If your like me you'll want perfection for the amount of money your spending on this. If you want one with no dents maybe your better off picking one up at the store.

Great amp
rock and roll machine through and through. Good headroom for nice cleans but can get rawkus as all get out and that is where it shines. Believe the hype.....orange is what rock gods play.

I've had this amp for a while now and thought I'd post a review. This is the first amp I've had that can't sound bad. Randomly set the dials and you'll get a great tone. The selectable wattage means you can crank it in the bedroom to get some beautiful crunch. I pair this amp with a 2x12 cab loaded with Greenbacks, which are only rated at 25 watts, so they break up real nice. Dime the amp and you'll get that saturated overdrive crunch Oranges put out for searing licks. Then roll back the volume a bit to get a nice overdriven rhythm guitar sound. Roll the volume back a bit more and the amp cleans right up.One change I am looking to make is to swap out the EL84 power tubes for some EL844s, which are basically the same tube just with lower output. This makes the amp less loud, but it also gets crunchier sooner. Even at 7 watts, when you dime this amp it's plenty loud. I've also want to get a Tubescreamer to put in front. I'll update this review when the time comes. If you want to shape your sound a lot, this amp might not be for you. The oversimplified tone control doesn't lend itself to major tone shaping, but who cares when the tone this amp does put out is so fantastic? The lack of reverb may be a drawback for some people, but I never touch the stuff.
