MAXXHAUL50248 Dual Hitch Extension with Single Post

I checked twice on the dimensions, to make sure it would fit. Does fit, and its rugged, a litle bit akward and heavy, but likely necessary for its intended purpose.My truck has advice on how far the ball should be from the vehicle. My normal mount is a little bit futher out than they prefer. With this one it is really out past where the truck suggests. But have drive with bike/trailer on 200 mile trips with out issue.On the first trip, when I arrived, had a suspension failure. My truck uses air suspension, and I was thinking that the extended length and the bikes on the ball were too much. False alarm. The air suspension system failed because a wirng harness in the front of the car had rubbed thru the air hose. This leak caused the compressor to overheat, an expensive repair. But had nothing to do with the hitch. Just sharing the extra detail because sometimes things happen. And in this case it was ccoincidental to the new hitch, but they were not related.Also, I have a little box for my hitch parts. Well this doesn't fit into the box, so keep that in mind, you need to store it somewhere when not in use either at home or the vehicle. Enjoy - works as intended. The extra socket carries 2x 50+ lb bikes.

I bought this to use on my 2022 Jeep Wrangler to use for my bike carrier. Everything is good,but it is too tall to clear the spare tire on the carrier.(35" inch tires.) I just took 2" out of the height,and rewelded it back on,and we are good now. (I could not find any manufacturer who is making a short one of these adapters..)

used this to lift our cargo carrier further off the ground and away from the exhaust. came in very handy for our 800 mile roundtrip.

I have a luggage platform on the back of my RV and wanted to add a bicycle rack. This handled that problem with ease! It is sturdier than I even imagined! Only drawback was it didn't come with a second hitch pin for the bike rack. I'll add a picture next time I'm here!

I bought this to give our bike rack a 2 inch lift from the hitch on my SUV.We used the bike rack when we go camping and with all the camping gear in the back of the suv, the bikes on the rack we're very close to the ground so I bought this lift to give me that extra 2 in lift and it works perfectly!It's made up very strong material and the welds look extremely good! I would venture it would be very safe to use this to tow something behind your vehicle without any issues!

It was little rusty when received, not sure why.

We're currently mostly using this for its extension, but that it also creates a 2 hitch system is a nice added bonus.

I defy you to see that this was a used receiver extension. It is like new and polished. It fits well and is what I needed, to lower the receiver 7 1/2 inches, to accept the carriage for my mobility scooter, to have the carriage gate fold down to load and unload the scooter.
