Magnetic Shower Curtain Weights (Brown)

We have a stall shower with a small lip on the pan. These magnets help hold the shower curtain down and prevent it from slipping in front of the pan so that water doesn't get on the floor. They work great, look great and we couldn't be happier!

I bought these magnets for my summer home. I just remodeled my bathroom and removed the tub and installed a shower. The shower curtain would “suck in”, I bought these magnetic weights and they are perfect. No more worries about water damage on my new floor. I love them so much I bought some for my primary home.

These function well to keep the shower curtain from slapping your naked body, but there is upkeep involved and they are a disposable product. The adhesive holding the magnets fails. You must remove, dry, and re-glue the loose magnet, paying attention to its polarity when you do so. Over a two year period most of the magnets on the interior side of the shower curtain will rust and disintegrate into dust.We do live at a beach and the salt air is harsh on many things, but I doubt that these magnets are especially vulnerable.If these were more reasonably priced, their short life could be tolerable.UPDATE: Contacted the manufacturer to ask about making these more sturdy. They acknowledged that they had used a defective adhesive and were now sealing the magnets with the stronger glue. They also shipped me a replacement free of charge. BRAVO for an ethical company! Raised rating to 4 stars. Will report back in 2 years.2nd UPDATE---> Replacements have proven to be very durable. I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE SHOWER CURTAIN WEIGHTS.3rd UPDATE----> after 3+ years in a salt air environment, these weights are still functioning like new with minimal rust showing.

I finally found a product that will keep my shower curtains from billowing when the water is on. I've been having this problem for years and have tried magnets and other sorts of weights to keep the curtains from ballooning and touching my skin while I shower. These weights did the trick! I don't have a shower enclosure or door. I only have a D ring curtain holder and cloth curtains. I used some of the weights individually as magnets, on the wall side of my shower. I used the rest together on the opening side of the shower, which was the worst when it came to billowing. Now, not only do they prevent that, they allow for the opening and closing of the curtain and, when closed, stick, magnetically, to the tub. When I open the curtain they remain in place, because they are also magnetically connected to each other. I'm so happy. I no longer have to run the water at extremely low volume, or turn the water off while I lather, and I no longer have to constantly battle with the curtain!!!

Bought these mainly to use on a shower curtain at a motel that stubbornly blew into the shower during washing. These weren't nearly heavy enough to keep the thing still, and I ended up having to improvise, which resulted in water getting all over the bathroom mat. The magnets hold very well, but unfortunately they're just not heavy enough to stand up against strong drafts.

These magnetic shower curtain weights are easy to install. They weigh the bottom of the curtain down so that no water spills over the 2-inch lip of the shower base. They do exactly what I hoped they would do.

We needed something to keep the shower curtain down for my brothers to help our elderly father take showers. Where we used to have a curtain plus a liner, we had taken the curtain down so it wouldn't get wet and were just using the liner, but without the heavier curtain, the running shower made the liner blow all over the place! Then we found these shower magnets! Thankful for them. We attached them down low near the bottom of the liner and they don't even show--they just hold the liner down perfectly.

These magnets worked great at first, they really helped the shower curtain not billow in. But within 6 months, almost all of the magnets fell out of the plastic bars. Superglue wouldn't even hold them back together. The actual magnet dots rusted and the plastic stick starting bowing in the middle, so both magnets could barely stick to the tub at the same time. The white plastic is also not very well molded, there are lots of rough patches and discoloration. Unfortunately, we have barely found any other alternatives to these, so we bought a second set to replace the first one which eventually developed all the problems described above.
