I purchased these backs because the backs that came with my beautiful blue topaz earrings were not tight enough and my earrings would fall off, especially when using the phone at work. These backs are much more snug and keep my earring in place the whole day!! I did consider "screw-on" backs, however, this would involve modification to the earring by having a jeweler replace the existing post with a threaded post. I am so happy these backs are snug enough!!

I am pleasantly surprised by these earring backs. For the price, I expected something pretty crummy but bought anyways based on previous reviews. I am glad I did! I wear a set of small diamonds and another set of sapphires that are very sentimental to me. Keeping them on my ears is important and the original backs that came with the earrings are...dicey to say the least. This new backs are awesome! They are larger than I thought they would be in diameter but the size isn't obtrusive. They lock nicely on to all of my studs and hold them in place. Really happy with this purchase thus far. My earrings are a standard stud size (I think 18 gauge) and these backs work perfect

I bought these earring backs as I was tired of losing stud earrings due to loose earring backs, putting on and off face masks, etc. I immediately used these on some earrings that I almost lost the week before. I have sensitive ears and most backs and earrings (unless they are gold) irritate my ears. I have been using these all week and these backs are great! First, they are tight and I do not have to worry about losing a stud. They are also hypoallergenic and I have had no issues with them irritating my ears! I would highly recommend these if you are tired of losing backs and have sensitive ears!

One of piercings was irritated on the back of the lobe. I used a gold stud but most of my backings are turning color or getting old. Used one of these with the gold post earring and my issue resolved. Size and sturdiness are excellent. Would buy more.

These look awesome (I got gold) and are actually better than the earring backs that came with some earrings I purchased. They fit nice and snug, so I don’t have to worry about them coming off.Also a nice solution if you buy cheaper earrings that only come with the silicone backs or the metal backs are flimsy. Will buy this again if I end up needing more.

These are a tight fit, which is what I wanted. I got tired of losing earring backs and can't believe I always managed to catch or find my little diamond earrings. These backs are the right size for me to grip with my fingers, but not too big. They snap into place and stay put. They don't look cheap either.

Fit all my earrings with missing backs perfectly, both cheaper costume jewelry and more expensive pieces. Even worked with my diamond notched stud posts, fit tightly enough to not worry about them sliding off. Comes with a little plastic case to hold them. My case was broken when I received it, which was a bummer because it was a nice size, but the earring backs were still in perfect condition and the correct amount. Wore them a few days in a row and overnight with no irritation or discoloration.

I expected some to not be functional, which is why I bought in quantity..China stuff ya know. Other wise, they are fine and have good catches on them. 2 were no good. No biggie...it's only to secure costume earrings from constantly falling off...they are just straight posts w/o catches so these serve the purpose
