Beck Women's Schmetterling Rain Boot

I have always had boring black wellies so when my others developed a leak I thought it was time to break out (I'm in my 70s). I love these wellies as they are both pretty and practical and a reasonable price.

Nice design. Comfortable. But the insoles inside slip out after first use and you have to put them back everytime which is a bit annoying.

I ordered these wellies for my sisters birthday on 16th August. She is a keen gardener in all weathers and enjoys pottering in her greenhouse so taking great pride in her appearance I think she'll love having an elegant and practical pair of wellies for her hobby. I'll be keeping them for myself if for some bizarre reason I need to get a replacement pressie for her.

Ordered for my Mother for dog walking. She loves them please note that they are a short leg length and are supplied in a half size.

They are really nice - very comfy the inner sole is soft and the wellie itself is a nice thickness firm and comfortableThey are quite loose around my calf so can stuff my joggers in or add leg warmers in winter.The colour is vibrant and true to the images shown. I’m really pleased with these and would recommend particularly like the sole it’s got good grip.

They look nice and well-made, and the materials look good, so I'm hoping they'll last for a good while. The tread was good and stable in the wet snow we had this week. The disappointment was that I ordered size 5.5 (39 on the size chart). The bag they were packed in is labelled 39, but the boots were size 40, marked on the attached tag and on the insole and outsole. They were too big, but after adding two pairs of insoles under the ones in the boots, they fit fine, so I didn't want to return them in case the correct size might not have been comfortable, and then I would have to return those, too. They are shorter and wider at the top than they appear in the photo on the listing. The short height makes them easier to put on than taller wellies, and the wide top makes it easy to tuck trousers in. The problem with that, though, is that the first time I went out in the rain with my trousers tucked in, drops of rain fell into the wide tops of the wellies and I could feel the raindrops on my socks. So the next time I went out, I wore them under my trouser legs instead of over. The problem with that was they left red marks on my legs where the top edge rubbed against my legs when I was walking. They felt comfortable, so I wasn’t aware of the rubbing, but the marks were still visible on my skin the next day. So, I'm back to wearing them with my trouser legs tucked in, and will just have to accept a few raindrops (hopefully just a few) falling in. Maybe I should have returned them after all before taking the tag off when I first saw they were not the size I ordered... Hindsight!

A little shorter than they looked in the picture but they will be fine for walking or gardening, which is what i needed them for. Good strong sole and a comfortable fit.

They look exactly like in the picture. Love the butterflies. But whats great they fit me a uk 24 plus size lady with thick calfs. So Im thrilled to use these when I hike around the Welsh countryside this spring

Die Stiefel sehen genauso schön aus, wie abgebildet. Ich war total positiv überrascht, dass sie auch für strammere Waden super geeignet sind, selbst die Hose passt noch mit rein und sie sehen nicht klobig aus. Habe sie eine Nr. größer bestellt, da kann man bei dieser Jahreszeit, wenn ich z. B. zur Welpenschule gehe, noch bequem dicke Sohlen reinlegen oder dicke Strümpfe anziehen. Absolute Kaufempfehlung.
