Prior to selecting this scale I read all the reviews... ever get the impression all of these digital scales have the same guts? That's what I thought, but truly, not sure. I usually weigh myself every morning at the same time. I remember reading somewhere, not to weigh yourself after taking a shower because you will weigh more. Not sure of the biology behind that, but it seems true. Be consistent in your weighing schedule. So far, all of my repeated attempts have giving the same result. Just to test a theory, I pulled the battery, reset the scale and took another reading... no changes. The scale is quick to turn on and zero itself, and the display is plenty large to read. I got the white one, as it matches my bathroom, and I have to say, it looks pretty good. Since using this scale I have dropped from 171.10 to 170.60 so I know it's not working from memory as some have indicated. If I experience any negative occurrences, I'll make an attempt to revise my review. The scale is a good price as well, and yes, I would buy it again if I needed another.

I purchased a blue scale for my daughter, and she found it to be just as accurate as the super expensive one at Jenny Craig! It even includes tenths of a pound like theirs. I then bought a white one for our bathroom, and I am totally amazed! It came well-packaged and included the necessary battery for it. When you step on it, it takes a moment and when it is ready, it flashes a few times. You can then get off the scale and look at the number. I can also see it standing on the scale, because the number is well lit and bright. The white scale looks like it is slightly light aqua to me, but I love it. We have bumped the scale a few times in the middle of the night, but nothing has shattered. It seems rather sturdy to me. If you want an amazingly accurate scale at a reasonable price that is easy to read, this is the one for you!

Firstly, I like the simplicity of this device calculating weight only. I had to get away from the alternatives that were unnecessarily complicated with menus just to access a simple measurement of weight. Pretty sure this device advertised accuracy to the nearest 1/10th of a pound. I'm convinced this affordable unit does not have that level of accuracy. I can weigh the same regardless of adding additional items that are at least 2/10ths of a pound and yet there is no change in the measurement. My best guess is it's accurate to the closest 1/4 to 1/2 pound. I gave it 5 stars because my guess of a maxim variance of +/- 1/4 to 1/2 pound is not material.

This works well and is accurate as it read the same as on a doctor's office scale. Looks great, very easy to read and is well sized so its not too obtrusive but easily accommodates your feet. Too early to tell about reliability, but so far so good.
