Q: Hi the head of the Rake at 16" seems not wide enough for raking out rocks/sticks and leveling soil ..am I wrong ? Is there a slightly wider one ?

I have used it to rake out rocks and sticks and to level soil and it works just fine. It is heavy and very sturdy. My go-to tool for heavy raking.

Q: How is rake attached to handle?

I don't remember exactly how the handle is attached and it is unavailable for me to examine at the moment. But it is attached very securely. If you are worried about the rake head becoming detached, don't worry. I have used it to clear out very thick and heavy brush and the handle was not a problem. Do know that the rake itself is heavy so it requires some arm strength to use.

Q: I am 5ft 2in tall. This rake seems way to large for me. Can you suggest a rake with a shorter handle?

I can't suggest a rake with a shorter handle but I think you are correct in that this rake would be way too large for you. Besides that, it is heavy. I really like the rake but I am tall enough and strong enough to handle it. It is a very tough and sturdy rake for the brush that I am raking.
