And She Sparkled

I have been a fan of Joan Steffand for quite a few years. Most recently from the "Get Real Girls" radio program. When I heard her promoting the book on a separate radio program I was intrigued. When I looked it up online I realized her message while in a simple form was one every woman I knew could relate to no matter where they were in life. I bought 3 one for myself and my daughter and one for each of my cousins who have been my traveling companions in this life. They have always sparkled in my eyes but I wanted them to see it to. I included a very sparkly ring with each of the books and they were a hit!

Absolutely LOVE this book - I keep it on my coffee table and all of my guests have loved it, too! It is such a simple, yet beautiful, story and I would recommend it to all ages!

I heard the author speak and when she quoted this book, I knew I had to get it. I bought several copies and gave them as gifts to women and girls I know who could benefit from a boost in self esteem. A simple, but very meaningful book.

excellent book as it will bring back to life how we are to live, with freedom

This book is an easy read that will make you feel good all over and remind you of all the dreams you have put on the back shelf. Mine is beside my bed on the nightstand, where I can look at it and have a visual reminder of what it is to be free in oneself.

Fortunatley, I saw the author in an interview on a local Los Angeles news program.I couldn't order the book quickly enough.The message is happiness, hope and belief in who you are.Treat yourself and friends to a book that will delight you, encourage you, and become part of your heart.

...and she sparkled I was very disappointed in this book. I expected more as I always liked the author, but it was too simple and too easy. I felt like I was reading a children's book and I may give it to a young relative, but I won't be reading it again. Something felt like it was missing and it just didn't ring true enough to me. Contrived maybe? I did like the cover and enjoyed the drawings inside. Just wasn't worth the money, however.

Joan Steffend wrote a touching tale, but I didn't enjoy this book as much as her last book. Sweet story
