The UV-C is real and strong!
The media could not be loaded. Tested for UV-C and it’s strength and happy to say this is the real deal! I use it to sanitize my phone so I don’t have to get it wet with wipes and also use it to sanitize my reusable masks. It’s compact and feels great in the hand. It’s easy to take with you anywhere and it’s rechargeable so you don’t have to worry about changing batteries. The child lock is also a great feature that I keep on when I’m not using.

Not UV-C!
Not UV-C! This light has uv but it is not UV-C. We have a household light we use in mold prone areas with a UV-C bulb. When I bought this I purchased a Uv test card so I could feel secure that it works. Glad I did. I tested it before charging and no green letters. I tested it after charging 12 hours thinking maybe that would help. Nope. Still no c spectrum light. So we tested our uv-c bulb and the green letters showed up immediately and obvious. See the photos for the difference. If the letters arent green, it’s not uv-c. Sending it back.

Very little UV-C light
I used a laboratory dosimeter to find out how long would be needed to sanitize with the UV-C light. Unfortunately, to get most pathogens you need a dose of 50 mJ/cm^2. It took 17 minutes and 49 seconds to get to that dose. For C.diff and Aspergilis, it takes 100 mJ/cm^2 and that took over 36 minutes. I had to watch a Netflix show just to pass the time while I was waiting, that's how long it took to disinfect JUST THE CARD AREA.This is advertised as a 9 second solution. I am not a negative review guy but this is not what it is advertised. No one is going to hold this wand in one tiny spot for 17 minutes. If it uses other types of UV light, that's what it should say. So, to protect people who need a real UV-C light, I am providing this review and screenshots of my timer and pictures of my dosimeter readings.Very disappointed in this product and the misrepresentation.

Had it 1 day and so far so good.
We’re using it for resin crafting and it’s working great so far. Only used one day thus far. So there’s a 1 day testimony.

Amending my one star review
At first I gave this product one star because when I tested it with my Quantadose card, I didn’t see the green “UVC” indicator lit up. I tested it again later, and found it is because you have to hold the wand really close to the card - within 1-3 inches. So, anything you sterilize would have to be held very close to the wand. Compared to my more expensive wand, I think the light is weaker. So it probably would sterilize, but you would have to be very very close and pass it over slowly

UV wand is legit
After spending a lot of time evaluating uv wand types I settled on this one due to price and effectiveness. This product had mixed reviews so it was hard to know but I took a chance and so far it's been working out for me. Would have liked it to cover more surface area but for the price I'm happy with it.
