NobleEgg Egg Topper Opener Cracker Tool | Easily Cut and Remove the Top of Soft-Boiled Eggs

My vegan girlfriend has been struggling to crack eggs to make me breakfast. I bought this to crack raw eggs, because she would always get egg shells in the eggs when cracking them on a flat surface or against the edge of the pan.I used it on a few raw eggs and it really worked quite well. I needed 2 or 3 tries per egg, but it was really effective.She was concerned that water could be trapped in the stem after cleaning it, for fear that it might rust. So that might be a design flaw that we'll notice in the future.

Every once in a blue moon I fancy "dippy eggs with soldiers" for bfast. I could never get the egg top taken off without having bits of shell left in the egg. This gadget works perfectly. For best results though, use it directly on the table top and not on the plate. Law of physics I guess with having a solid impact on the egg shell. Great product with a good price!

At first, I thought the cracking action of this device would be too strong and crack the egg too much, but now I see that it needs that strong force. It takes me about 3-4 solid pops to make sure it cracks the egg correctly, but it doesn't do it completely every time, maybe about 97%. You have to tilt the cracker over to the side instead of lifting it straight up to remove the top sheel. It removes it pretty cleanly, but sometimes a little jagged. The top egg shell sometimes sticks to the dome of the cracker, so you have to dig it out a little. I've only tried it with a raw egg, so that gets messy with the egg whites sloshing out a little. I haven't tried it with a soft-boiled egg which is what I actually bought it for. Still a prettier presentation and easier than hand-cracking the egg shell.

Without any doubt this is the best egg topper I have. This is the one I use almost every day for my breakfast. Easy to use and always reliable for the same type of crack in the top of the egg. So happy I bought this one.

I was a little skeptical about this product but my gosh it works great, no struggle just takes the top off..first time it removed the top shell and egg top with it and that's fine, last couple times it perforated the top and I simply lifted the eggshell right off! Either way I'm pleased!

Not for raw eggs, only boiled.Breaks shell, but leaves behind micro fractured shell pieces and shell dust that gets into eggs. Good for boiled eggs though.
