This Webcam was a pleasant surprise. Very simple setup...excellent video and audio quality and very fast shipping. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a high quality product, and a very fair price.

This is a really nice camera. I got it for the Windows Hello feature and because it is a higher resolution camera than the one built into my work laptop. I can't understand why a high-end laptop wouldn't have at least a 1080p camera in 2024 but I digress.Windows Hello works great, and the picture quality is usually very good, but sometimes Zoom can't properly auto-focus so my face is very blurry. It only happens once out of every 7 or 8 calls and it is getting better over time, so I don't know if this is a Zoom thing or a camera thing. Other cameras that I have used with Zoom have not had this issue.I like the automatic privacy shutter so that you can see exactly when the camera is engaged and when it is not. Overall, this is a good value for the money.

im a podcast host and I love how easy and quick this cam is to set up and go instantly. there is also a great mic built into the cam so i dont have to carry around a cam and a mic among other stuff when i record.

This was the second attempt at buying a Windows Hello compatible camera. The other was an HP model that turned out to only work on a USB 3.0 port, making it incompatible with my KVM, and even directly on a USB 3.0 port, I never could get Hello to work at all. This one, on the other hand, works on an older USB 2.0 port AND just worked right out of the box with Windows Hello on Windows 11. There was nothing to do but select the configuration button in Windows settings for Windows Hello facial recognition, and it looked at my face and said "OK", then worked first time I went to unlock my computer. The video quality is decent for a low-priced camera. The only thing the HP would have given me that this one didn't have is a variable Field of View, which the other camera had a few intervals between 60 and 90 degrees, where this one is fixed at 92 degrees. Considering that this camera works for Hello and the other didn't, and I can use this one with my KVM to share between two computers on my desk, I'm fine with that. The 92 degree FOV is a bit wider than ideal for a single user sitting close to the camera, but it's OK. I've so far used it with Teams and Zoom with good results. This one only cost like $4 more than the non-pro model, and I think for the autofocus alone that's worth the extra few dollars.The only puzzling thing is the automatic privacy shutter. You can force it to close by tapping the logo on the front, but a manual privacy shutter is something you KNOW can't be lifted. This one seems to be able to open just by any app turning the camera on. So how could it prevent somebody who's hacked your system from activating the camera with whatever remote control software they've smuggled in and thus causing the "privacy shutter" from opening? I guess I don't quite understand the point of that feature. It isn't a negative, it just doesn't seem to me like something that makes a physical manual lens cover from being necessary. The point of a privacy lens cover is to make it impossible for a hacker to spy on you. What keeps them from being able to turn this on and open the "automatic" shutter? Still, the camera works very well and is priced fairly, so I highly recommend it. That one feature just seems like more of a gimmick than a real feature, and you might still want to put something over it if you value your privacy.

I bought this device to use as a replacement for a 10 year old video camera. I use it for formal Zoom meetings and for our weekly Skype with the family. Easy to install and connect. My only dislike is that the zoom function of the camera is not on the primary setting list and requires a detour.Highly recommend it.

Good camera for my needs - usually on messenger or teams meeting. Easy to set up, clear picture and good sound. Love the lens cover feature while camera is not in use. Came well packaged as described and instructions.

The only feature I liked is the privacy shutter. But there should a manual over ride for the shutter. Autofocus is annoying during minor movement in meetings. Software is hopeless and don't allow to set the zoom since I don't want me to appear too close to the camera. Picture quality is not acceptable when you have set a background in Teams to hide your background. Used less than a day and returned. Thanks to Amazon else it would have been and bad spending. My honest feedback was never published in the manufacturer's website.
