I'm using the strap with an AKAI EWI5000. The strap that comes with the instrument is an open hook and prone to disattaching from the instrument which could cause droppage. I tried a strap with a closed clasp, but that was too bulky as it sat in just the wrong place for playing and was uncomfortable on my right hand. This one has an open hook, but it's longer and curved almost as one coil of a spring, so it's easy to hang the instrument and remove it but it's secure as well against dropping as it is unlikely to get unhooked by accident.

I recently started playing the tenor saxophone. The instrument I got did not come with a neck strap so I jumped right on Amazon to order one. This was cheap and looked like exactly what I needed. It serves the purpose, but I'm not a big fan. The piece that attaches to the saxophone is a metal hook is how I would describe it. It seems okay, but sometimes if I move the saxophone, the hook gets a little tangled and is difficult to remove or adjust. It serves the purpose, but I don't recommend it.

The sax neck strap is exactly as described. Not as cushy as some, but much more comfortable than my old worn out strap. Secure, but easy on/off hook. Lots of places to adjust. Works great with my alto, soon to try with the tenor.

These neck straps are best for public school students or rehearsals only. I was attracted to the easy adjust n the hooks which allow you to switch horns quickly but mine eventually gave way on both ends where the strap attaches to the pad. Buying new straps n will put the old hooks on those.

This strap is comfortable , but a little hard to adjust quickly between instruments . I really like the hook though.

Basic strap, nothing special. Would buy again if I had to for the price alone.

I priced it in different places and this was the best price for a beginner's budget.

Purchased this after losing my other neck strap, and overall this is better than the one my saxophone came with. Very comfortable, easy to use, and doesn't get in the way. Couldn't ask for anything better for the price.
