I live on the backside of a mountain so I have lots of wildlife getting into my veggie patch and so far with these little lights my plants are safe. Nothing has come in to eat on the tender young plants.

I got this to scare away feral pigs. Since they have ripped up the lawn all around it, I think they like it. If you would like a red blinking light on your lawn, this is the way to go, inexpensive and reliable. If you would like to get rid of feral pigs, try a shotgun or a fence.UPDATE: No it still didn't scare the pigs away. However, since the unit works properly, I mounted it in my truck with a few electrical components so it now looks like an alarm and since car thieves are way stupider than pigs my truck is now, I hope, safe. The merchant bent over backwards to make me happy, and now I am. The pigs are not happy as today I finished installation of an expensive but effective hog wire fence.

I've been using these for 2 years now to discourage rabbits from using my garden as a 24 hour, all you can eat salad bar. The flashing lights are easily visible from more than 100' away. Since I'm trying to scare rabbits, they're mounted ∿24" above the ground. I've tried sprays, granules and other repellants with no luck. these appear to be working. They've been out in my garden area 24/7 for 2 years and are still blinking away every night, all night long.

Purchased the product to keep deer away from our birdfeeder. Might be working in the evening when it is dark. There is no motion sensor. It is constantly flashing when it gets dark and off during the daylight. However, there are two issues that would make me hesitant to recommend it. The deer seem to feed at first light and the flashing Predator Control Light is not deterring them. Either the deer do not detect the light or it shuts down. The second issue is solar battery life. Worked for a few days, along with some sunny days, then we had some overcast days and it did not work. I would not recommend the product. Very disappointed. We did some research and my next plan is to use 30# fishing line and string it to four, four-foot high stakes in a three-foot perimeter around the feeder. I did look at other alternatives, like motion detector lights and/or ultrasound, but very concerned about our dogs [sent an ultrasound unit back to Amazon] and their ears and also about scarring away the birds with light. I think they are all gimmicks anyway.

This is my second set that I have ordered and they last longer than expected. I got about 2 years out of the first set and so far, they appear to help keep critters out of my garden. Recommended

It does keep unwanted animals from our garden and my flowers !

I bought this to keep coyotes, skunks, raccoons, possums and feral cats off my residence (adjacent to a canyon). It did not stop a coyote from devouring a bunny in front of my house and leaving the horrific remains behind

Unfortunately just enough time had passed that I could not return. Money wasted.

So far, no racoons or skunks! Keeping fingers crossed.
