EMGBQS HZ 3-Band EQ Active Bass Tone Control System for Passive Pickups

I wasn't sure how this system would work with my Cort Artisan Bass with the CK5CBC pickups. The install was easy. Just had to solder the neck and bridge pickup wiring to the back of the unit. The sound was incredible. What I origanally had was the Bartolini preamp system. Decided i wanted to change up everything. I could not use the EMG pickups because they would not fit in the cavity. So I email EMG and ask them would thier electronics work with my CK5CBC pickups and they said it would. I was so impress with the tone quality it scared me. Now my 5 string Cort bass sounds like a $2500 bass. If I got a 4 string Cort I would consider doing the same thing.
