I'm former law enforcement. Believe me, you don't want a DUI.
A lot of people don't know that if you are drinking and driving and there's any injury, even minor, in many states it's charged as a felony. Also, many don't know that you can easily be convicted of a blood alcohol level below the state's legal limit. For example, here in California, if you are at or above 0.08%, the presumption is that you're too intoxicated to drive. However, you can still be charged below 0.08%. It's just that the burden of proof at a lower level shifts to the prosecution. So how do they prove you were too drunk to drive? Slurred speech, weaving, watery eyes, ran a red light, weaving, got in an accident, things like that. The build quality on this tester is above average. The zippered case is nice and heavy duty. I suspect that the internals are top quality just based on the way that it works. I do believe the readings to be accurate. This could literally save a life. Better to take a cab or Uber, but when unsure, test yourself to make sure you're safe to drive. And when in doubt...don't! 5 star rated.

Way too complicated for what it is
Way too complicated for what it is. This device is suppose to be used when you are drinking and possibly intoxicated. It is not user friendly enough for that. This is the 3rd high end breathalyzer I have used and the worst one of the three. I feel like this devise should be self explanatory. If this is my third one and I can’t figure it out without the instructions sober then they need to go back to the drawing board. So when you hit the only button there is it shows a b with some lines. I think b for blow...but that is not correct. The be is for battery and there are one to three lines to indicate how much battery is left. Then you will have some dancing circles okay so surely this is when I am suppose to blow...again no. This is the warm up stage. It is not until the devise displays a 0 that you need to blow. Not the clearest, but okay. Then you blow until you feel/hear a click. Then it has a loud annoying long beep as it displays your results. There is no inconspicuously doing this. It’s such an annoying sound you will have the full attention of the room. There are also a list of errors that you would need the very small printed instructions to decipher. There are a few positives like it is smaller and more compact than the other ones. It also is cheaper and still seems to be accurate. After you use it several times you will get the hang of it, but don’t expect your drunk occasional user friends to catch on.This is a step above the $20ish dollar ones, but I don’t feel like it’s worth the price point. I don’t use it to measure drinking and driving and only use it for entertainment purposes with friends. I just feel like it should be more straight forward since it’s intended to be used when you are less alert.

Super Safety!
I don’t know much about these things but, I can see that this is a professional grade, DOT Conformed Machine that seems to be pretty accurate. I think it’s a cheap price to pay to save yourself and possibly others, if you decided to have a few. It seems to be made really well too and has a few settings but, it was easy to use. It also comes with 5 different ends that are pretty easy to pop on and off. It comes with the 2 AAA Batteries it takes, the Manuel and a little zippered case. I would recommend it all day. Stay Healthy Everyone!😁

A much more reliable model
We owned a breathalyzer once before but its readings were unreliable and we couldn’t trust it. This one is much better built, reads consistently and has a useful case, too. Safety first! We’re also impressed with the warranty, tech support availability and money back guarantee.

Fast readings, easy to use
Sleek and compact breathalyzer that comes bundled in a small, zippered storage pouch. The set includes 5 mouthpieces and the device has 2x AAA batteries pre-installed. Recommend reading through the simple instructions the first time around to get the hang of using the device as well as correct procedures when blowing into it. Once you get the hang of it readings are relatively quick. Do note that this type of device requires manufacturer re-calibration - in this case every 6 months or after 1000 uses. You'll need to send the device and a $30 check to a listed address in Torrance, CA per their website.
