I hadn't bought a PC in about 7 years and boy have they changed! This machine is incredible and the price is one third of what these used to cost.

Description is incorrect
I received the Dell Optiplex 3050 today and attempted to set it up. First thing it wanted was an ethernet connection. I looked everywere to find how to connect using the WIFI the description said the computer had. According to Dell, the Optiplex 3050 does not come with a WIFI card installed. There is no external antenna so an after market WIFI has not been added. Fortunately my system sits right next to my wireless router and I had a spare ethernet cable.

No WIFI card
Received computer quickly. However, upon trying to setup, I discovered there is no WIFI (or bad wifi) card. Only ethernet internet setup option was available. Returned to seller.

Does not have a CD/DVD drive as shown in the picture
The place on the two units where a slim optical disk drive would normally be located is instead only a slot-cover. So now I'm wondering if this was a mistake or intentional? I'd appreciate a follow up on this.

Super PC !!!
Hasta el momento ha funcionado perfecto ! Incluso me llego con 16 GB de memoria aun cuando en la publicacion decia 8 GB , esta super veloz arranca en 15 segundos, no hace ruido , es compacta para poderla transportar, se puede colocar en vertical u horizontal , Su aspecto fisico es de 10 pasa como nueva no tiene signos de uso, lo único malo es que el teclado que incluyen esta en ingles pero fuera de eso esta excelente sin duda la recomiendo.

"Dell" it is not [UPDATED] 2 of 2 dead
The case is Dell, and it has a service tag, but all the other components are CHEAP overseas garbage. My SSD failed after 7 months. It may be fine for some use cases for the price, but don't use this for anything important. I'd suggest re-refurbishing with a some quality RAM and namebrand SSD. Also the "wifi" was just a dongle that was included.[UPDATED]The second one I had purchased at the same time is now also dead.

Muy buena compra
Muy rápida la computadora, si vale lo que cuesta, solo el office lo trae por 30 días como prueba, después ya cuesta. El adaptador de wifi es malo, se conecta y desconecta, pero me enviaron un reembolso para comprar otro mejor. Recomendable.
