Veanic 4-Pack Replacement Joycon Joystick Drift Fix Analog Thumb Stick for Nintendo Switch/Switch OLED/Nintendo Switch Lite Joy-Con Controller

I made the mistake of loaning my switch to my brother a couple years ago and since he has a toddler, of course it came back with the caps of the joystick peeled off and pieces of the joystick chipped off. I didn't want to pay the $70 just to have Nintendo fix what was essentially cosmetic damage, so I bought a set of replacement joysticks.The first ones I got weren't these ones. When I installed them, they were stiff and didn't have a full range of motion. Once you played with them a bit, they did eventually loosen up, but then got the annoying "drift" issue. So once I used up all four of the ones I bought before, I figured this was my life now. I would just purchase packs of joysticks every month or so to continue playing the games I love. So I ordered theseThey had full range of motion the moment I bought them. They do not drift. They work exactly as if I got brand new joycons and so far, they have shown no signs of drift in the past 3 months. 100% would recommend. I'm not sure what Amazon was asking when it asked me to rate the thickness, so I gave it 3 stars, because the joystick itself is sleek.

I've already used two out of the four pack and am about to do a third replacement. After the first one only lasted two weeks, i thought maybe it was just a random dud, but the second one also only lasted about two weeks before drifting again. It's now so bad that i can't even get through the calibration (switch not recoginizing when i release the joystick). I even took the joycon apart again to make sure i had the ribbon cable properly in place, but no these are just junk analog stick modules. These are really not worth the time to install or the price.

I've bought quite a lot of these so far, to repair controllers with drift. The construction of these joysticks is quite good, and the joystick itself has an identical look to the original.I will continue to purchase these for the repairs I'm doing.

Horrible waste of time...ordered a 4 pack of Veanic Joycon replacements. Installed 2 of them and they were both off center even after recalibration. Didn’t bother trying to install the other two and returned. That’s AT LEAST a 50% DOA rate...maybe more if I tried installing the others. Unacceptable

UPDATE: After contacting the company and confirming that I had installed the parts correctly, they sent 2 more. I don’t know that the last one I have from the original batch will work, but the replacements are holding up so far.Original review: I have had luck with this brand in the past, but this time 2 of the 3 joysticks I have used are even worse than the ones that were replaced-constant, hard drift on both. I don’t know if I’ll either bother trying the fourth one.

I had 3 "faulty" or drifting sticks on my joy-cons and, they are perfect to replace them. One thing to notice if you take out the faulty joystick from your own joy-con and shake it, you will hear something and that's the stick. while trying to do that with the new joysticks it won't make a sound.

Used all of the replacement toggles and all are working well. Definitely a good deal without having to get one with additional tools. We will see how long they last, but so far so good with no issues with the stiffness or functionality.

We had some old joy cons that were beginning to lose their way, so to speak (literally, they were drifting). We wanted to look at repairing, not replacing. The joy cons themselves were not terribly easy to take apart, but the supplied tools certainly helped, and saved us a great deal instead of buying new ones!

I was happy with the repair kit that I bought from them around 6 months ago and the joy stick replacement did last for a pretty long time. So when they are broken down again, I decided to buy a 4 pack replacement cause of the value. After 1 month of waiting, I finally got my package and was super excited to fix my joycon but my joy did not last long. One of them was defective but since I bought 4 so it does not affect me at the moment but in the future it will. I will try to contact to them about this problem and hopefully they can help me resolve this problem.Updated: I got in contact with the customer service and they did agree to send me new ones which is super nice from their end. After testing them, they are all in great condition.

This was kind of a hail Mary. Our Switch joycon had been broken for years because Nintendo is the worst. I figured instead of buying another joycon that would break again, I'd get a replacement joystick.It was super scary to install because the parts were so tiny. We also had to get a specific screwdriver for the joycon, which I blame Ninendo for again. But now the joycon works like a dream and it was all cheaper than the 50 dollars I've been avoiding spending.One note, though. If you wanna use these, make sure you have all the extra stuff you need to install it, such as the screwdriver. You can buy a little toolkit designed for this off of Amazon so I'd invest in one. It's still worth it.

These came exactly as advertised, and were a nice fix to the stock joysticks that kept drifting. They feel pretty much identical to the original feel of a brand new joystick. Unfortunately, I think these are prone to the same problem as the originals, as I found that after a while they begin to have some drifting issues as well. If you have the materials needed to replace your Joycons joysticks, I'd recommend these over one of the repair kits. Overall, a much cheaper alternative to a 90 dollar set of controllers.

The item looks like the original. It will probably break in a few months or less like the original as well. At least they are less daunting to replace than PS4 sticks.

Works great, one of the analog sticks showed up with a small tear in ribbon from, so I emailed the company (small customer service card included) and within 30min they responded and sent a replacement!
