just what i wanted

I can now leave my windows open all night without having to worry about the outside world.I live in a bungalow and it also gives me peace of mind that my dog can’t escape either.

These were exactly what I wanted. Our windows upstairs are full length top opening windows and our kids have worked out how to open them... so we needed a way to stop them from doing so and more so from them potentially falling out of the window. These restrictiors are easy to put on, you just need to use a good electric screwdriver. I have UPVC windows so these screws were easy to screw into. I would imagine you’d have to drill a small pilot whole in a metal frame. Once screwed into place they appear to hold the window really well and it doesn’t feel like my kids could fall out of them now. If I had any cons about this product would be a way to easily adjust them to be slightly smaller. I’m guessing there is a way but my pack didn’t come with any instructions and I’d rather have them on and in place than me trying to work out how to shorten the cord and mess it up. I’d recommend these to anyone with kids who are a little too adventurous for my liking ;)

Do the job ok, wore restrictor is quite thin compared to some we’ve had but overall keep the window a bit more secure. Easy to install.

The wire is a bit thin but they are good for money. Easy to fit I would pre-drill holes it's a lot better if you do. Keys all good. And you know people can see them as they look like alarm Security chains It gives you that extra protection if people see them. I tried to pull windows open and they did hold
