Best of British: The Stories Behind Britain's Iconic Brands

This beautifully photographed volume which is a paean to classic British Fashion manufacturers. Short but informative histories of manufacturers like John Smedley, Inis Mean, Drake's of London. Perhaps a tad overpriced for what it is, but worth the trouble to read.

What there was, was fairly interesting, but the book truly lacked any substance and was extremely narrow in scope. Would not waste your money.

表紙・裏表紙が本の中身に対して逆さま、従って裏表紙(当然上下も逆になる)から本を開くと言う完全な不良品が届いた。また配達員は無理矢理ポストに押し込もうとし梱包が破損、それを見たマンション管理人が注意した。二度とAmazonで本を買うのを止めようと思っている。

Beautiful coffee table book. This book is full of beautiful colour photos and started reading it the day it arrived. It is a book that will be picked up and flicked through, put down, picked up. If you are interested in traditional British style it is for you.

Es werden Traditionsfirmen in Grossbritannien vorgestellt, die gute und Nachhaltige Produkte herstellen. Einige davon kenne ich persönlich und habe mit Interesse ihre Geschichte gelesen. Kurzweilig und Interessant wurden die "Brands" vorgestellt und man bekommt Lust die Dinge zu besitzen. Sehr gut gemacht!
